Monica, has a looking . Its actually looking great. Temperatures are starting to cool down from their highest point we reach the upper 80s in philadelphia. We are now at 86 degrees. 84 for those of us in pottstown. And Atlantic City at 80 degrees. Notice millville, dover, much cooler in the 70s. Heres why. We had some showers and thunderstorms popping up in that area. Any time you see that rain roll through, youll notice a cooler temperature and so we have that down towards parts of delaware and into south jersey ill zoom in there to let you see at this point in lightning being reported. But there was some lightning earlier. Now these storms are starting to lose bit of their power as they move through milford, north of dover, notice this one storm with Lightning Strike north of 95 heading in to parts of Chester County and moving towards Delaware County. Im going to take you now through future cast to show you what the future cast is thinking is going to happen with some of these cells doing a good job of picking up that isolated nature and we could see a cell moving in from maryland through parts of delaware. Up into Delaware County through Chester County but its becoming and more isolated and smaller cell as we head into nine, 10 0d news because thats when a lot of those fireworks are going to get going. Nine to 10 00 oclock and at this point it look like anything that is popping up will be very small, very isolated. Fireworks at this point shouldnt see much of an impact from these storms that are popping up towards delaware and into south jersey ill keep up to date with the forecast as well as thursday. Thats the next best chance for some stormy activity ill have that coming up in just a bit. Lucy. The discovery is unsettling enough. But its what was inside that little coffin that has police on the case. Fox 29s dave kinchen is live at the scene in north philly. Dave . Reporter yeah its very unusual even police say this is not something they come across every day and, again, the details here may be a bit unsettling for our viewers. Philadelphia Police Worked the 3,000 block of west clearfield street in north philadelphia where a child sized coffin was found but with no body inside. Ive lived here over 40 years. Reporter ever hear of anything like this. No, never. Reporter Vanessa Brown has a lot of questions after witnesses say a group of people found the coffin partially wrapped in trash bag inside police say there was a bag filled with organs belonging to an up fan or small child. The organs, i just cant picture that. Im so sad that, you know, this happened. Report roar the discovery was made sometime after 9 00 last night. Chris james was among the first to have a look. It look like something straight out of thriller. Something pop out or eat us. We didnt know if something was live in there. Reporter the lid of the coffin appeared to be pride open. We didnt want to open it. We didnt know what was inside. We didnt know toxic waist could be in there or anything. Reporter cops say the coffin seemed fresh and may have been taken from funeral home or dug from a fresh grave. It was across the street from cemetery so police check and another cemetery from the air with a helicopter but they did not find any fresh graves. Its disturbing. Very disturbing. Reporter cadaver dog also look but found nothing. Well, police say theyre checking with area Funeral Homes to see if theres missing a body or coffin. Medical examiner will evaluate the remains. Temperatures down the shore starting to cool down. We had some cloud cover moving in so were at 73 degrees in ocean city. Low 70s for north wildwood. Ocean temperature still pretty chilly at 64. Hammonton 84. Camden 87. Bordentown 86. Starting to see that breeze pick up. 84 in pottstown. Mount pocono 77 degrees. Dover millville like i was saying earlier a bit cooler just because we are looking at some showers and thunderstorms within the area. Heres frontal system off to the south of us. Pushing south of south jersey into delaware then it stalled out of the it moved south stalled out and thats why a lot of these storms and showers that are popping up arent moving very quickly. And so thats what the problem is going to be over the next few hours. These storms are going to kind of push in and were going to see them kind of stall out right over top and so we are starting to see some cells popping up something to watch out for for the next hour or so. And then as temperatures start to drop back down, we reached highs into the upper 80s created a lot of instability. Once those temperatures do start to drop back down sun begins to set this may not be as much of an issue we have to wash out for passing showers through the n few hours as we head nine, 10 0t showers becoming much more isolated. Tomorrow morning looking nice. Were expecting mostly cloud, dry conditions. A little bit of cloud cover, though, well will see partly to mostly cloudy skies. Through the afternoon the cloud cover is expected to break apa apart. Wednesday afternoon looking partly sunny as we head into thursday some kind of start. Clouds pushing in the morning and then through the afternoon we actually will up those rain chances. So your overnight low 69 degrees in the city. 65 for those of us in the suburbs. Partly cloudy and once again an isolated shower or storm passing through. As we look towards tomorrow, your average high 87. We have below average temperatures expected for tomorrow and as we head into our thursday. So 85 degrees in philadelphia. Millville coming in at 81 for your high tomorrow. Reading lancaster possibly some storms in the afternoon. Most of that isolated. Temperatures low 80s. Down the shore, even cooler than that. Weve got 70s. So wednesday 76 degrees. More clouds and then by thursday we are looking at some storms possible but its all about the timing. With your high of 77 degrees we can see some of those storms beginning to form as we head through the afternoon and into the evening. And then those Storm Chances are going to continue as we head into early friday. By friday afternoon, that starts to move the rain out.
