It stems from a cell phone video showing what some believe is excessive force. We first showed you the video last month. It shows a struggle at the Frankford Transportation Center when a man in handcuffs refused to sit down. A septa officer uses his leg and body weight to take the man to the ground. Well today septa released the officers body cam video. They say while the suspect is wellknown to them, the officer did act inappropriately. Septa also says the officer erred in not activating his body camera the moment he saw the suspect doing something wrong. The officer involved will remain on the force. The archdiocese of philadelphia is pulling out of a plan to sell 213 acres of land in Delaware County after a deal fell through with a developer. The land in marple township went up for sale in 2013.
