Reporter iain, they are, of course, pursuing some leads right now. But police are stressing the fact that they need the publics help to bring in the two men responsible. Right now they are continuing to interview witnesses who may have saw something when this happened. Theyre also hoping to be able to talk at the woman who was carjack again. She is in critical condition. Critical but stable condition at the hospital. Police are going through Surveillance Video from cameras in the area but they hope that there may be more businesses or even residence with cameras that may have captured something, where the carjacking started or ended. They are asking those people to contact them. Three innocent children had the rest of that are lives in front of them that were taken and this accident is very sad and tragic. Weve got new information tonight about 49 year old richard plots the man police say started shooting yesterday at a Delaware County hospital campus hes accused of killing his caseworker and wounding his psychiatrist. Probably been seeing this doctor on and off over the last 20 years he last had an appointment with his doctor about six weeks ago. So when he showed up yesterday he showed up pretty early about an hour early and that raised some suspicion the doctor called for the caseworker to come, too, it turn out to be a fatal mistake when that happened because in that office what woo learned investigators say that plots turned his weapon pulled it out of his waistband on his caseworker and shot her at point blank range and thats when the shoot out happened and at least 10 shots were fired. What set him off . Investigators say a lot of thi thing. Richard plots was deeply offen offended declaring a gun free zone. They say he pack dozens of rounds of ammunition, his 32 and a plan for murder. Only thwarted investigators believe because his own hero doctor also had a weapon of his own. I believe that if the doctor did not have the firearm if the doctor did not utilize the firearm hed be dead today. And i believe that other people in that facility would also be dead and wed be making funeral arrangements for those individuals because of the actions of mr. Plots. Dr. Lee silverman was injured in the shoot out with a graze wound to his head and his thumb. He was too shaken up to speak today. Plots left the scene in restraints investigators say hes got a troubled past. Even after he was shot three times he was still aggressive they say it took another caseworker and a doctor to wrestle him to the ground. His day of anger did claim one life investigators say he shot his 53 year old caseworker theresa hunt in the head killing her instantly. On her street, they are mourni mourning. She feels more like family than a friend. Because she was with us every night outside. Its really, really, really sad. But its just like i just want her to come back. Reporter they absolutely do. Investigators say they found 39 more bullets on the suspect so they figured this could have been much worse if he was not stopped. He has been sedate all day long. But they expect more, and they expect more charges to come against soto. They say the hidden cameras were found in bathroom stalls in five different buildings around campus. 1500 videos files were confiscated and it looked like they were not posted online or shared with others.
