We are bracing for some snow and ill be tracking when, where, how much, but first lets talk about the rest of the our evening. 46 degrees at Philadelphia International airport. That high today, remember, that was at midnight. Then we fell throughout the day. Those winds pretty strong out of the north northwest at 12 miles per hour. And when we look at your ultimate doppler radar, you can see that we actually had nice sunshine just to start with. And now those clouds are really increasing. That will be the story for the overnight. Increasing cloud cover ahead of a system thats going to be bringing us snow. So this is a look at your future cast snow. Notice i also put the temperatures there. They are going to play a role in this forecast. So lets take look. Through the overnight, this is about midnight you can see some snow reaching into southern delaware and into maryland. Thats about it. This is going to take its time moving its way north. Then we head into saturday early in the morning. And you can still see a lot of that snow to our south and off to our west. It really doesnt get going until we head into the mid morning and through the afternoon. Thats as those temperatures will near freezing. Thats why we actually could see at times a mix thinking this leads off as snow and as we head into the afternoon as temperatures start to get higher and higher, we could see a bit of a mix that could create some slick spots on those roads. Something to be aware of as we head into the afternoon. I already saw a loft these dot crews out there getting that brian so that shouldnt hopefully cause too much of an issue. And then as we head into saturday afternoon, notice the snow starts to disperse and actually parts of south jersey and delaware may actually switch totally over to rain and then this heads off into the atlantic and were done with this as we head into early sunday morning. Sunday morning lots more sunshine in store. When it comes to that potential snowfall a lot of models are saying with any from quarter avenue and inch through parts of new jersey to about half an in inch. So definitely not as much as what we were looking at last weekend when we were trying to compare these two storms, its reareally not comparable much ts is going to be lower impact. Again, you do have to watch out for some of that freezing rain. There could be a bit of a mix as we head into the afternoon. But the Delaware Valley no watches, no warnings, no advisories as of right now. Whereas areas to our south and west where theyre expecting heavier snowfall do have Winter Weather advisories. Overnight tonight, temperatures are going to be dropping into the 20s. 24 in the suburbs. 28 in the city. With increasing cloud cover. It will be cold for tonight and then tomorrow temperatures arent going rise that much. Thats why we are talking about that snow event. 36 degrees light snow and a mix possible winds out of the northeast 10 to 15 miles per hour. Heres a look the your seven day forecast. Sunday sunny and chilly 44 degrees. Monday weve got the holiday. Martin luther king day. 42 degrees. Cloudy but then we get some shower chances as we head into tuesday and wednesday. Guys .
