Joanne, witnesses say there were several bullets found at the scene. Reporter thats right, iain. This is a developing story. As you said, we are live here at Cooper University hospital where that little girl an eightyearold girl is in surgery right now. Doctors trying very hard to save her life. After she was shot outside of her home a little more than an hour ago. Now, these are the pictures. This is the video from the scene at south eighth and spruce streets in camden. One witness telling us he was inside of his home, thought he heard firecrackers and came out to be told that child had been shot. The witness said the girl was hit in the crossfire of that shooting. Again, she is in surgery with trauma doctors right knowledge people in the neighborhood telling us they are very upset that this happened. That witness telling me that he doesnt let his children go outside at night because of all of the gun violence. Again, a developing story. To our developing story now out of delaware. An adventure at a state park has turned deadly. A woman died after a zipline tripping police say she fell 40 feet to her death at the state park in bear. Fox 29s brad sattin joins us live from Police Headquarters in newark with more on what went wrong just horrible, brad. Reporter yeah it sure is. Something obviously wept wrong here. She was on this zipline with a Company Called go ape. They have a location at that state park in bear, delaware. They have 14 other locations across the country. It is unclear exactly what happened, but somehow this woman fell off. Investigators were on the scene through the afternoon trying to determine how a 59yearold woman fell from the go ape tree top Adventure Landing on the ground 40 feet below. Paramedic rushed to her christiana hospital where she was pronounced dead. In the promotional video go ape is build as two to three hour adventure through the forest canopy. John and tara have been on the ziplines here before. Youre instructed on how to attach and use the lock and everything. Its very safe. He can also imagine how an accident can happen. If they didnt go through the precautions of hooking themselves you have with the caribbean and lost their balance and fell it could be possible. Theres double hooks that you hook on and everything. The Delaware Department of Natural Resources and environmental wrote in a news release the Safety Systems are designed so that participants stay attached the entire time they are in the trees. Participants only become unattached when back on the ground. Its not clear if the same system was in place on this regular course. The Company Released a statement saying the go ape team is deeply saddened by this tragic occurrence.
