Flood watch continues through tomorrow afternoon. Because even though the rain has already fallen and has moved on, we continue with the snow melt and this will give the rivers and creeks and streams time to rise. A flood advisory in effect for these counties to the north and west until 11 30 because we picked up over an inch of rain. We do have additional snow melt so there is concern for additional street and stream flooding with this an area roadways and poor drainage areas could have flooding so if youre driving late tonight to the north and west of the city, just be on the look out for water covering the road. The criminal case against bill Cosby Montgomery county judge refuses to throw it out now the comedian is facing the possibility of a high profile trial. The judge announced his decision earlier tonight after listening to two days of testimony. Fox 29s Chris Oconnell was in the courtroom and is live at the courthouse in norristown tonight. Chris . Reporter iain, these are two major hits to the bill cosby defense team the bottom line on what happened here over a twoday hearing here at the Montgomery County courthouse is the criminal charges against cosby will move forward. Showing little emotion as he left the Montgomery County courthouse, elder battled Comedian Bill Cosby is now headed for criminal trial. After two days of testimony judge Steven Oneill rejected a motion to throw out the entire case. Cosby is accused of drugging and sexually assaulting Temple University employee Andrea Constand back in 2004 inside of cosbys cheltenham home. The defense wanted key evidence dismissed that evidence cosbys own words a 2005 deposition in a civil trial. Attorneys argued cosby was given immunity for that testimony. But judge oneill says theres no basis to throw out the case. And in a second below to cosby, his legal team tried to get Montgomery County District Attorney kevin steele and his entire office dismissed from the case. That motion was also denied. I think the issue here is was there a deal between bruce castor and bill cosby . And theres lots of arguments as to there was there wasnt a deal. Number one it wasnt in writing. Any good lawyer is going to put an important decision like that with an internationally known figure in writing. Why wasnt it in writing. I have no idea. It. Doesnt make sense. I would never do that.
