Heres a look at the records. Philadelphia new record of 71. Atlantic city 73. Reading 68. 67 the new record in wilmington. In the poconos they beat the old record of 58 set back in 1979. So it was warm everywhere. A mild night. Temperatures not falling all that much tonight with some cloud cover and areas of fog. 53 in the city. 50 in our suburbs. If some patchy fog even during tomorrow morning but the warmth will be replaced by cooler air behind this cold front. The cold front is going to bring rain to the Delaware Valley by tomorrow afternoon. Now the carjacking suspect is facing charges of kidnapping endangering the welfare of children and vehicle theft. Hes still in the hospital tonight. Investigators say two officers shot and killed yesterday morning after he refused to drop a gun. Today authorities released photos from the scene where police say those officers fired 33 times at the man it all happened in the town of linwood near los angeles. Police say several people called 911 saying a man was armed along the side of a road. Some even said he fired a gun into the air. Authorities have identified that man as 28yearold nicholas robertson. Police say two officers asked robertson to put down his gun and when he did not, they opened fire. The video indicates that the suspect was looking in the direction of the deputy sheriffs and that he had the weapon in his left hand as he was looking in that direction. Video appears to show officers firing even after robertson collapsed. Authorities say an Investigation Continues but add that robertson never let go of the gun even after he hit the ground.
