When he returned to the car about an hour and a half later he is facing several charges including recklessly endangering a child. Reporter barbara and kristen are expecting a baby the two were married two years ago in windsor and now barbara is pregnant and now she no longer has her teaching job at Marian High School because of it. This is so much more than me or my school. You know, its about a human right. Its a right for woman to have a child. Apparently in marian you can get pregnant. You just better do it the oldfashioned way. All girls Catholic High School has a morality clause kind of like the militarys antiquated dont ask dont tell policy. If you publicly had some type of actions that were contradictory to catholic teachings, then there would be an issue. If you did and it was private there seemed to be no issue. Reporter barbara kept her private live private for her nine year at marian all the while teaching ap chemistry honors chemistry biology. She coached volleyball, softball and was the teacher moderator for student government. But once she became pregnant, she asked for a leave of absence and her school said no. Obviously being pregnant you cant hide forever. You know so i tried to be proactive and professional. Really my only options were to resign or be terminate. Resign and sign a confidentiality agreement or be fired. Im not willingly leaving so i wasnt going to sign something that says i was. I wanted to say this isnt okay. I should be able to have kid too. She was let go and now miss webs students and their parents have flooded her Facebook Page with a huge show of support. Parents like dr. Mary coffee. Marian students will be at a loss for not having her as an instructor. She was far and away the best science instructor my daughter had at marian. Reporter now that science instructor is encouraging her students to spoke out against injustice to make a difference all the things marian preaches but it appears doesnt always practice. Theyre taught to stand up when they think an injustice is happened anding ago toy visits for what believe in and theyre doing that. So im still hopeful. Reporter as for marian the administration here declining to go on camera telling me this a Personnel Matter and as such will remain confidential. So what marians loss will be another schools gain where a whole new group of students will end up with one dedicated science tee which are. I think ultimately teaching is where i fit in. So a couple more hours of the unstable atmosphere as we watch a frontal bound dee move through the area. That will bring winds out of the northwest tomorrow. So lower humidity throughout the day but those temperatures its still going to be pretty warm with highs tomorrow in the upper 80s. So as we take look at the satellite and radar heres that boundary off to the west. It will continue to move through pushing away the clouds as well as those showers and storms and also lowering that humidity for tomorrow. But 93 degrees that was the High Temperature today. 10 degrees above the normal for this time of year. But 7 degrees away from the record for todays date 100 degrees set back in 1953. Temperatures right now still pretty warm. Were looking at 76 in allentown as well as philadelphia. Low 80s still in dover as well as wildwood. And as we talk a little bit about the dew points the pressure of moisture in the atmosphere you guessed it. It is uncomfortable to oppressive dew points are in the 60s and 70s right now across the area. Tropics heating up as well. We have Tropical Storm dolly moving ashore just to the south of tam pick company mexico. Maximum sustained winds at 45 miles an Hour Movement to the west at 9 00. So torrential downpours right now impacting sections of mexico mexico. For us leftover scattered showers and storms for the overnight. Temperatures in the 60s for the suburbs. Were looking at High Temperatures tomorrow in the upper 80s. Thats still above average but it will be cooler if you will than that High Temperature today of 93 degrees. Upper 80s as we move into your wednesday as well. Thursday you can see were looking at temperatures right around 89 and 90 by friday. The humidity increases.
