It was friday night into saturday, 20 after 1 00 in the morning a woman walking home from being out with her friends alone, gets attacked by a guy who passed her on a bicyclist at first. He is described as a hispanic man, short and thin, 5 feet five, and likely in his 20s. He leaves would the mans phone and keys, and, then goes back because he forgot something that he brought, and that was to show shoulder message back he carries. Police say they have video spotting him riding his bicycle, that is when he sees her and he sees her locking it to a pole. They didnt put out a description of the video or the initial video of the bicyclist itself or any description of the bike because they think that is the key to cracking this case. They know what the bike looks like and only the rapist knows about it bike. Steve, three people died in at least eight shootings, capping a very violent 24 hour period in philadelphia. Police say that a 21 yearold man was shot at least 15 times, this is on the 1900 block of west 69th avenue this happened, yesterday afternoon, in west oak lane, that person died at the the hospital, the other two incidents were in north philadelphia. Saturday night, a 16 yearold boy was killed, at a barbecue in the 700 block of westmontmont, and that same evening, a 24 yearold man lost his leg outside of a bar in the 3300 block of germantown avenue. It was about one year ago fox 29 cameras were there as then ten yearold Sarah Murnaghan was returning home from the hospital from a double Lung Transplant. She has not only been fighting for her life but also been fight to go change donor rules to help more children qualify for transplants. Murnaghan was granted a special court order to jump to the top of the adult transplant list, again, something that is usually not allowed for children under the age of 12. Sarah was at end stage lung failure and would not have survived without an immediate transplant. That special court order could be made permanent today. Donor board is expect to vote on that proposed change. After we do they are expected to hear from the murnaghan family and expect to hold a press conference at their Newtown Square home, karen and chris. Thanks, jenny. Reporter hundreds filled the delran vfw hall to help raise money to pay for medical expenses for Jennifer Faulk, the 39 yearold, single mom, who was battling Breast Cancer. She passed away. I dont know how, or why this happened. There is no explanation. But it came on very suddenly. Three weeks ago she was fine and yesterday she passed away and it is not ferreter report money raised through ticket sales and silent auctions will new go to faulks two daughters, gabby and jenica, the eight and 15 yearold were there by their mother an s side when she died. These women and these men, that are here today, they are just, they loved jen. It doesnt matter if they have ever met their children, her children before, they are going to help to give them whatever they need. Reporter faulk, who was diagnosed with Breast Cancer five years ago, was in re mission but a couple months ago that cancer came back aggressively. She passed away a day before this benefit. She was supposed to attend. That is her. Looking back on everybody together. Reporter many friend, including members of the band rock and road grill, have now shifted their focus from their friends, to her daughters. This whole community of people are here, are there to help them, period. There is a lot of loving people and caring friend that are here just for that. Reporter Chris Oconnell, fox 29 news.
