Police released new information this morning in pinellas park. Around 6 15 last behind a dumpster betwee u. S. 19 and park boulevard. At this time officers believe the man was a transient and died as a result of blunt force trauma. Investigators however still do not have a motive or know who is responsible. Also new this morning, the Polk County Sheriffs Office is investigating the death of an inmate found in his cell. Investigators say 23yearold brandon les is van was found during routine rounds. He was arrested in september and was deemed to treat himself unsafe. There was no apparent trauma. Autopsy results are pending. After two long days, the pasco county Sheriffs Office suspended the search for a possible body after receiving a tip on friday, a cadaver dog alerted to a specific area of green key park. They searched for two days but found nothing. The investigation has been called off. The park is now reopened. Polk county deputies will continue their search today for the person that stabbed a lakeland man in his own front yard. The 32yearold was stabbed just before 11 00 on friday night. He went to a neighbors home for help but died later at a hospital. Heres one thing americans are thankful for this thanksgiving. Low gas prices. That they met for 90 minutes, an hour with staff, a half hour just the two men by themselves that went much better than secretary of state, but probably not the frontrunner. I think at the very least it shows that trump is not nursing grudges, that hes magnagimus in victory and wants to reach out to all elements of the Republican Party or Political Class whether they sppted him or opposed him. Family and friends and hundreds service on saturday for ded a 72yearold david roundtree. It was actually held at greater mount zion ame church. Police say 21yearold Charles Walton hit and killed roundtree while the crossing guard was setting up the school zone air. Roundtree had been a crossing guard for about three years. Walton was arrested and charged with dui manslaughter. A Pinellas CountySchool Employee remains behind bars to meet a minor over the internet. Tampa Police Arrested nathaniel prince on friday night at the reflections apartment complex. Investigators list his job as a night foreman. His charges include lewd or lascivious conduct. Pinellas county schools have not commented on that arrest. Volunteers were out this weekend helping tampa bay watch mark storm drains in south st. Petersburg to discourage team from dumping waste there. The placards educate the public that everything that enters the storm drains ends up in tampa bay and can affect your water quality. Not only do we want to educate the public about anything that they put in the storm drain goes into the bay, we want to clean up the local area so the debris isnt in the storm drains and end up Marine Debris into the bay. Volunteers worked on cleaning up the area around booker creek that empties into tampa bay as at least 104 people are dead, more than 150 others are hurt this morning after a passenger train accident in northern india. Horrific incident. Hundreds of people were trapped inside and the number of deaths are expected to rise. Theres no word yet on what caused that train derailment. He spent three years making a documentary called the ambassador of jazz, following sonnys life from his childhood in the Great Depression through hez performing career to how he brought jazz to a new generation with his band. On his walls are the memories and the greats, from Doc Severinsen to Wynton Marsalis man but more for his work with kids. One boy said i want to thank you so much what you did for me. I dont remember what you played. I dont play anymore. Im a dentist. It was the confidence and performance that came with the music that the trumpet man brought to the kids. He could have went on to play the rest of his life in the bigtime, but he stepped down to step into the lives of other people.
