The vehicle made contact with him visually, backed up and ambushed the officer by firing in the directioio of the officer. The officer, after receiving fire, took evasive action to further dive into the vehicles and at which time he was struck one time in the lower extremities. The Surveillance Video shows the driver pulling away and the suv is cutting through the standing water in the parking lot as the driver races away. Officer starlingpursued and asked for backup. The subject then at approximately 20th avenue leaned out the window with the firearm officers in pursuit ofof them.
