Mary democrats can cross over and vote for republicans in thisbl case some of them did and voted for trump, but am more of them did and voted for caseic. We have most of the precincts, 72 percent are in, john case okay winning by about eight points. This is a bigger win for not trump, but this man has made a very difficult path to get the half plus one delegates thats necessary to secure the nomination in cleveland. Vela the path is now harderc than ever. The math is all very difficult. Take a look at florida. This is the end of marco rubio. He succeed defeat, suspended his campaign. Donald trump a landslide. Still one state, in missouri,so its very just about 7,000 votes separating donald trump and ted cruz. Cruz that could go into the night. Ht. Let me ask you about bernienie sanders while were on the democratic side. Sid what is the road like for him moving ahead even if he wins the two states that we dont know yet who is going to win, what kind of pass do he have to try to get the nomination. Inat the math is tough at getting the nomination itself. So many of the super delegates go they could change their minds, it seems like what he is doing is to keep the message out there pushing Hillary Clinton to the left, trying to secure something important at the convention. As far as the math goes to winning it all, its not easy. The democrats, its all proportional. Theres never a winner take allstate. Hell within delegates in every state tonight even though he may not win one tonight before the night over. Lets go back to john case issue for a minute. This was a huge victory in his home state of ohio. Whats next for him . Does he have any sort of path for the nomination. He has a path to thethe nomination, i cant see it. Its shrouded in trees andes theres a lot of fog, but what he can do is be one that stops donald trump and thats what the establishment is doing. We used to talk about lames at the beginning of the gaining beginning of this campaign, we have donald trump with the lane and john kasich and tedd cruz is the outer sider. Within minutes of the announcement being made, d. C. Streetcar simply tweeted out like were still runningunni tomorrow, come get a ride on us. It only goes up and down the one street. You could ride for free there. A lot of folks may be out andut about tomorrow because of this. Weather wise. Ther weather wise theyre in goodn g shape. There will be a brief period inr the afternoon where aie front is going to come through and itt could be a few showers and some isolated thunderstorms betweenhu three and five. Ndre i done t think its widespread, though. And bonus, in the 70s tomorrow. R welcome back, right. We had some wonderful weather last week, warm weather and a w little bitea cooler to start ths week. Clouds hung tough and broke up this afternoon to help get us ts up to 65degrees and we hit tha the full sun angle. 63degree was was the High Temperature at dulles. Dull 61 at dwi. We should be a good eight to ten degrees warmer than that in most places, low 70s, maybe some mid70s and its brief because i think theyll only be aroundarou tomorrow. The front that comes through on wednesday thats going to bring us a chance of a thunderstorm ir the afternoon will also write somewhat cooler wednesday for thursday and then even cooler for late week. Eek. Snow to start spring, springspri officially begins on sunday andd well have an area of low a pressure at the coast. This may be able to find some cold enough air aloft on sunday. More on that in a moment. A big spread of temperatures ine the district. 46 for gaithersburg, a lot cooler there in frederick. Dulles 49, culpeper 48degrees. A little later tonight now that weve cleared out there could be some areas of fog in a fewew spots. I wanted you to see while were at 56degrees, nashvl atlanta, 72, little l rock is 76 grows. Here comes the heat. Eat. Thats whats coming in to townn tomorrow. A typical march map, a the look of cold air still on the weather map which is why march can bee such a volatile month with somet big storms. Well watch for a little bit of fog later tonight. Ht it should not be widespread. This is tomorrows littletomo weather maker, this area of lowa pressure with a front will come raising toward us. It will push warmer air ahead of it and thats why well get into the 70s tomorrow. Omor it will be a oneday special ani then we have to watch far a brief window for some two oror three hours for some storms tosr move through the area. Again not widespread, maybe a 30 or 40 percent chance that yout get one. Ge if you get one, they could have some brief gusty winds with them. Especially well be watchingchin central virginia. Ce a mix of sun and clouds, notlou full sun tomorrow and thursday,d saint pattys day, most of the rain dry, but there could be 67degrees. We cant say its totally dry for st. Patricks day either. As the front comes throughes tomorrow afternoon we gib the process of cooling things down just a little bit towards the end of the week and then wellel talk about sunday with the weekend on the seven day forecast in a moment. You can see well have a little bit of cloud cover around evener tomorrow morning, but some sun getting through. Ge still a warmer day with again a chance of a shower or a thunderstorm as we get up toto 74degrees. We want to talk about not only st. Patricks where we get up to 67 to give you an idea that futurecast is showing some showers, maybe 4, 5 00. And then sunday its that coastal system well be watching. We had to put on a chance of a a rain snow mix for our area. There could be some accumulation in the mountains. March snow does happen. We had traces of snow as late as the ninthc and 30th at dulles. Chance of showers on monday. Day. Tuesday, about 5 degrees, but temperatures, especially theally down part has met some revisiono to the peak bloom of Cherry Blossoms. Last week we heard they may beh out by the 18ingsth the end ofhe this week. Eek. But caitlyn roth has the latestl on what the National Park service is saying. Sa the cooler temperatures overv the past few days, the nationaln park service announced todaytoda that actually now peak bloom ham been pushed back to next week. So they expect it to begin march 23 or 24th. Last week the mps projected that the peak bloom will be betweenee the 18th and the 23rd, but, last week we had so many days da above temperatures, includingat three days close to 80 degrees. The cooler degrees and the variable temperatures means i dont think so. So. Theyre not going to be bloominb by friday. Fr average peak is april 4, peak, e bloom is when 730s p of those th blossoms are out as many of you residents probably know. The earliest Cherry Blossoms has ever bloomed is march 15 back in in 1958. So there is some variance. This year, National Park is saying next week peak bloomloom expected to be the 23 to the fourth. It usually lasts from four to ten days, but it can be verye variable depending on the weather. Well hay have to watch for thet snow chance this weekend. Eek well keep you updated with the Cherry Blossoms of course nextet week. Goodbyes are never easy especially when they come from veteran colleagues and friends in fact will thomas.
