What can people learn by looking to annapolis that maybe we can reingrain in National Politics i ran for governor because i was so fed up and disgusted with partisan politics and professional politicians and all the arguing and fighting. I was able to put together a coalition and win in the bluest state in the country as a republican because im focused on compromise is not a dirty word and being pragmatic and finding solutions and reaching across the aisle and finding partisan Common Sense Solutions is what we should be doing. I think most people in america, most people in maryland, are discusseded with washington and mad at republicans and democrats, why dont they stop the name calling and fighting and figure out a way to get things done . Thats what weve tried to do and seems like were having some success hes an threat offing guyly they had a the popularity. He came in second after the governor of massachusetts. Both of them are republicans and have democratic ladies and gentlemen, he doesnt say it in a way a lot of people outside the beltway usually say it. Hes disappointed. Theres a scenarioty about him, theres something about him that doesnt feel like hes saying something or taking a position because it is the republican partys stance but because he truly believes it. The interesting thing, governor, watchings had very strong stance come out in terms of the issue of sanctuary cities, this is one point where he is making no mistake, no apology for the stance that he take, i think people are willing to hear him out a little more he probably single handedly had a good deal to do with that billing not getting out of the Maryland Senate because he said its going to get vetoed if it reaches my next.
