Com its been nearly seven years since a mother of two was found stabbed to death in a Southern Maryland parking lot. Sandra was found stabbed to death. Detectives believe someone she knew killed her. Reporter in the fall of 2010, in the Southern Maryland town of lose bi, sandy long lived in this house with her husband and two daughters. She had a job. She worked with dis, learning disabled people. She loved to cook. Oh, my gosh, everybody. What was it that sandy didnt cook . She loved chuck brown. And she love her family. Did i was the life of the party. She was a good hearted, genuine, caring, considerate person that anyone who was be in her presence. Growing up in Calvert County sandy had a love for the water and with Solomons Island just a few miles away she was often there. Especially during the summer type. This would be her time of year, right here. But in november of 2010, someone had it out for sandy long and her life was cut short at 43. We know that it was a crime of passing, not sure why this happened. Sergeant david sexton with the Maryland State Police has been on the case since sandys body was discovered by some hunters in a dirt parking lot by camp canoe road. She was stabbed a couple times, stabbed in the neck, a stabbed in the chest. Had lacerations to the legs. Did she fight . There were very minute defense injuries to her hands. The last time anyone heard from sandy long was on the morning of it was just after 8 00 and she used her cellphone to clock in to work. It would be the last time she used her cellphone that day. Six hours and 43 minutes later her body was found inside her car right here in the hunt ers parking lot near Calvert Cliff state park. Its less than two miles from her home. Sergeant sexton says whoever killed sandy may have been in the car with her and the attack came as a surprise. You believe she was killed elsewhere and then driven here. Yes. And can you say why you believe that . Just because the way her body was positioned and we know the suspect cut the seatbelt. Dna recovered from the Steering Wheel matches a Family Member who Sergeant Sexton has not been as cooperative as he would like.
