Our mission is to provide support to families that have women on highrisk bed rest in the hospital and also to families that have babies that are in neonatal intensive care. We are serving st. Josephs hospital, sarasota memorial hospital. You had a preemie daughter, be, and what kind of services do you provide the families . We do two different things. First we serve the highrisk side by engaging a group of volunteers like myself who have been through this journey and come out the other side with a healthy baby. And so they bring a care package to these moms, and the care package has everything into it they need to survive their stay, and it also has a gift of hope that the they sometimes bring pictures of their highrisk baby. They share their story and their experience, and it helps those parents that are still in the scary situation know that they are going to be okay. On the nicu side, its similar. We also have a team of volunteers that bring care packages with essentials. But we also try to arm those parents with information. Information is power. Reporter thats wonderful. A frontal boundary moves in tonight. Thats not gonna bring much in the way of rain chances. If you have plans to go out anything like that, youre in good shape. Ladies, as far as putting your hair up as opposed to letting it go crazy because it will be breezy, that might come in handy. Look at downtown tampa right now. Not a cloud in the sky. We dont expect much of a change. As we head through the afternoon there may be a few high clouds, but overall we are in great shape. We are a little warm, but i dont think these temperatures are gonna climb much more. 84 in tampa. 80 degrees st. Pete. Also 84 clearwater. And we still got some 70s the mix. As the winds pick up, its gonna suppress those temperatures from climbing much more. So we see a lot of lowtomid 80s around the bay area. They are not gonna deviate much from where we are right now. We will heat up to 85 today in tampa. But notice the cloud cover we saw this morning, thats all gone. If you were east of i75 and north of i4 you probably saw a little fog this morning. Obviously, we are problem free right now and we are not anticipating even rain chances with this front, although a winds. Its not gonna be a big shift in the wind direction that you will notice. You will almost immediately feel that drier air coming in, and we are really going to enjoy it this time. Cant break down the rain chances completely, but only about a 10 chance of seeing a few sprinkles. There is that front coming through. About 8, 9 00 tonight thats gonna move through the tampa bay area. Thats when you should expect to see an increase in our cloud cover. Around dinnertime for the nature coast. Thats where we wille chances for showers, but they are minimal and they will not be much more than sprinkles. Head inside for ten or 15 minutes to wait it out. And then by midnight tonight that front is completely through our area and you can just watch it come through on this map. So 8, 9 00 on the doorstep of tampa bay and then all that dry air comes in and we see dew points that are down in the 40s tomorrow. 50s feel nice. 40s feel absolutely amazing. Through the evening. Notice how 8, 9 00 they are starting to fall. Youre gonna notice a bit of a difference for our inland counties first and along the coast since the gulf moderates temperatures just a little bit. But overnight tonight look at tomorrow morning. We are going to see low 60s across the area. Temperatures rebound but only into the midtoupper 70s and then sasarday night into sunday morning look at this cooldown. We are expecting 50s area wide. Even some low 50s, flirting with upper 40s for paof nature coast. A little dose of fall with an overnight low of 62 degrees in tampa. Its going to feel really nice. A little bit on the breezy side. We warm up into the upper 70s to 80 degrees this weekend. Sup morning that crisp cool fall start with the temperatures again down in the 50s. We are looking great. And we hold that trend into early next week. Looks like monday morning around 60 degrees as well. But we start heating up a little bit more during the afternoon and by wednesday that not super muggy, but more like today where its not super cool but still comfortable with isolated chances for showers. This school was the number two Magnet School in the country. The gators are well known for their visual performing and students are learning Cutting Edge Technology by designing and creating all kinds of items, and they do it with 3d printing. Their teacher says these skills will be so valuable. What we have learned recently is 60 of the jobs these children are going to have dont exist yet. So bringing this up to date technology them and giving them to be at their fingertips is a way to prepare them. Students arent afraid to get their hands dirty this is the vertical garden project. Its the answer to growing food when there is not a lot of green space. Had some of that video early for you. But its been a fascinating time to be at the school and kind of show you what they are learning and what they are learning at a young age. Hilary spent time out there yesterday. They are learning resumes and things about college at such a young age that they are ahead of the game.
