Someone with the Sheriffs Office will do a wellness check. Sheriff Brian Craig Floyd county 14 sec were looking for seniors in our community, in floyd county, that dont have a day to day talk with a healthcare professional or an individual that checks on them. We want to be that person that checks on them. The rise and shine floyd program is still open for more seniors. Contact the Sheriffs Office to sign up. Danville City Council Approves a request to increase the citys police force. The move increases the number of officers from 131 to 135. The citys police chief says this efforts to reduce crime. A richmond woman faces murder charges in the death of her son after his remains were found in her car 10 years after he went missing. Court documents show that tonya slaton was indicted earlier this month on a Second Degree murder charge. The indictment alleges that slaton killed her son, quincy davis, in 2005 when he was around 15 years old. State police pulled slaton over last june for an expired registration. Thats when the remains were found. The medical examiner has not yet determined why davis died. Former Bedford Police officer. Brian mcalexander. Is expected to be out on bond. Hes facing child pornography charges attorneys reached an agreement to set bond at 20 thousand dollars in Bedford County Circuit Court. A richmond woman faces murder charges in the death of her son after his remains were found in her car 10 years after he went missing. Court documents show that tonya slaton was indicted earlier this month on a Second Degree murder charge. The indictment alleges that slaton killed her son, quincy davis, in 2005 when he was around 15 years old. State police pulled slaton over last june for an expired registration. Thats when the remains were found. The medical examiner has not yet determined why davis died. Former Bedford Police officer. Brian mcalexander. Is expected to be out on bond. Hes facing child pornography agreement to set bond at 20 thousand dollars in Bedford County Circuit Court. There are some conditions as part of the bond. Mcalexander is not allowed to leave the commonwealth. Or use the internet. And he must stay with his mother in collinsville.
