So why do advertisers go for the young kids then . So one of the panels that is part of this program, one of the networks, researchers, is a giant in the field, points out that the sweet spot that were all familiar with, the 18 to 49, and, by the way, it was created because of baby boomers. That used to be the sweet spot. It is a shrinking demographic. Even the again genxers are five years from starting to turn 50. 18 to 49 is a shrinking demographic, and he asked rhetorically why would you continue marketing to a demographic that you know is getting smaller . What is the answer . Dying off. I think the answer is that people are reevaluating who is out there and who has the disposable income. And who is spending it. A bowling ball would really come in handy. Absolutely. You got to be willing to do whatever it takes to survive that attack. Simple things like a pen. You want to go for areas that cause pain. For the eyes, for the nose, for the throat. Soft tissue areas where its going to cause damage. You dont want to do that, but you also dont want to be the victim. What about your keys . Keys, same principle. Put it in your hand. Go for those soft tissue areas. Go for the ears. Ears. Things like that. Again, things that are going to cause a lot of pain. What about perfume . This might not be as quick, but just like pepper spray, go to the eyes and use it to again hit the face. Theres a lot of Different Things you can do. Again, you dont youre going home at the end of the day, you know . You dont want to hurt somebody, but you have to do what you have to do to survive that attack. What about your vocal cords . Scream. It has fantastic spa. Theyll give you champagne and strawberries, a 50 dinein credit. All sorts of celebrity chef restaurants there, and try your luck on the tables if you can win some money with your loved one. They really do need people to come on down. Lastly, you have to splurge in south carolina. Yes, charleston. This is a bit of a splurge. Its 280 a night, but it is a beautiful hotel. You get things like free dinner for two. You get a ride on a horsedrawn cart or a kayak tour. And the hotel itself is really old. Its got the oldest landscaped garden in the whole of america. Its about 70 degrees in charleston at the moment, and its a beautiful historic, romantic city. Cobblestone streets. Fantastic low country food. Great time of year to go there. Thank you. Those are the retro take on the ones we made in grade school. Where you punch out the little holes around the card. Make sure theyre evenly spaced, and then you just thread everything through. Okay. And this is another great these are another great idea. Who is crafty . You do it. Just more so than you. Were going to paint these on. A four inch roller. Were going to roll. Look how pretty. Were going to get the ombre effect. You can do this on a paper plate. Now were going to roll it on here. Start half an inch down so you have a nice border that goes all the way around. As inexpensive as a gift, take the outer wrapper of a chocolate bar and make your own fancy one with great paper. Then theyre making the gift cards right now that were going to stick on them.
