There are a lot of questions right now this morning about what led up to the shooting. News 4s justin finch is live with the Information Police will be reviewing. Whats new, justin . The on Site Investigation has wrapped up for now, but next up Montgomery County police will look over that officers body camera footage and other evidence collected including a scene. So far police are being tightlipped on what kind of weapon that was, but we do know this all begins about 11 00 or so last night here at the condominium complex. At some point that officer met a man here during a call. Thats why the officer was here. They had some kind of conflict. Its unclear whether that man was involved in the theft call initially. It all ends with the officer opening fire and hitting that man in his upper torso. We were told the officer did call fire rescue to assist in treating that man but he did die at the hospital. His name will be released once his family is notified. Now as for the officer involved, we know that he is a five 46 year veteran of Montgomery County police force.
