The two people who live here did get out on time but apparently their dog made it hard for fort worthers to physically get to them to help. So the man here just lying on the ground, but his son does tell us hes going to be okay. He has smoke inhalation. Now the mans daughter, in her 30s, also escaped. Right now shes in the hospital. Firefighters say she should be fine, too. Her brother got the call overnight. I got a call from my aunt like at 3 00 something this morning. I missed two hours because i was sleeping. I got up to use the bathroom and check my phone and she left a long message saying that my father was in the hospital and the house had burned up. Reporter firefighters tell us they dont know exactly how the fire started but they do believe it started in a bedroom.
