In Prince Georges County police are investigating an overnight shooting in sut land. Lets get to Meghan Fitzgerald now with more information. Meghan . The call came in to Prince Georges County police at 2 15 of a shooting. When they arrived on scene at the 4800 block they found one man shot here at tangier place. He died on scene here of his gunshot wounds. Its very active even three hours later. You can see there are several crime solvers vehicles here. They even taped off the area here on tangier place. As they continue this investigation we want to show you some video. Our team was here earlier moments after this shooting happened. Police are being very cautious and careful and thorough in this investigation. Out here taking pictures, marking the spot, trying to collect as much information as they possibly can to try and determine who the shooter was. Back out here on the scene what we do know from police, investigators have told us that they dont have a suspect description at this moment but they dont believe that this was a random shooting. Wilbur said after the first attack the owl swooped down and attacked somebody else too. The bird is probably young and mistaking reflections and ponytail for food. I looked down the trail and a big bird that i assume was an owl, looked kind of white, was swooping down on a woman who was jogging that direction with a ponytail. A case now that has been watched closely by both sides of the gun control issue, a gun store in wisconsin being ordered to pay millions of dollars after selling a gun used to shoot two Police Officers. Those officers filed a lawsuit against badger guns because the gun used to shoot them was sold to a socalled straw buyer. The shooter was too young to buy the gun himself so he paid a friend to buy it. The officers were both shot in the face in the summer of 2009. The defense argued there was no way the owner would have known it was a straw purchase. The act of straw purchasing is fundamentally deception. We are learning that there is a criminal Investigation Underway over allegations the officer spit on a man he arrested. An onlooker had video. They ordered several people off the steps of a building. One man argued with an officer and was tased and handcuffed. Thats when witnesses say the officer spit on the man. Any reasonable person can look that the video last night and come away with some serious concerns. Police officers in baltimore will start wearing body cameras later this month. They say his death does not appear to be suspicious. The police Facebook Page says juan cared deeply for his family, friends and fellow department members. More reaction is pouring in on a story we first told you about yesterday. The arrest of a woman who live streamed what she called her drunken drive home. Next thing i know, she hits a sign. Thats when i decided to log out and call the cops. Now that was the man who called 911 as he watched the video. The woman in the video, whitney beal, was stopped by police shortly after that call. Beals Attorney Says his client is not how she seems. Shes a young professional. Were going to be taking every step to make sure that her rights are carefully respected. Beals Attorney Says she will plead not guilty to dui charges. The next time you head to the dmv in virginia ask yourself if you really need to be there. A new report says that nearly 20 of people in the commonwealth go to the dmv unnecessarily. Who wants to go to the dmv . That means wait times for everyone are longer. In arlington the average wait time just over 40 minutes. Thats compared to a little more than 20 minutes statewide. The report found that most customers were showing up for vehicle registration renewals which can be done online, over the phone or by mail in most cases better than actually going to the dmv.
