Five injured including three children on a serious clash on clapper road near great seneca highway. It happened in Montgomery County last night. These pictured tweeted out of the scene. Three of the people are seriously hurt. Both rouds 117 and 119 were closed during the investigation. Right now all lanes have guards members are on their way to help out in West Virginia where the death toll there continues to rise following powerful floodwaters that tore across the state. You can see some of the aftermath there. Nearly entire neighborhoods swallowed by that rising water. Thousands remain without power this morning. Some people came through that slept in their car last night. Had animals and children with them. They slept in their cars and some people havent been able to return to their homes a the all to see whats there. A former dunbar track coach will spend the next 17 years in prison. He was sentenced friday. He pleaded glts toy seven counts of sexual abuse earlier this year. Young admitted to abusing seven boys on the d. C. Schools campus between 2012 and 2014. A are toer Fairfax County Police Officer adam torres, was sentenced to a year in prison for killing john geer in 2013. But despite the sentence on friday, torres will get out in a couple of weeks on good behavior, because he has already spent ten months in jail. Geers family says the sentence is an insult. It was the result of a plea deal that prosecutors say was key to keeping geers children often of the witness stand. If i went out and shot somebody, i would never see the light of day. Its pretty hard on those children and so i guess i could geers opinion. Geers death led to new Police Training and policy changing in Fairfax County.
