Taxpayers foot bill for several staffers called to the stand. The post said that the law firm sent a final bill that brought their total cost to about 985,000 and that was at a big discount. Staff members who testified at the trial include a former chief of staff, Communications Director and several aides. The mcdonnells are facing years, possibly even decades in prison and now their jurors are breaking their silence about the verdict. During nearly a month and a half of testimony they couldnt talk about the trial and now its over and two jurors opened up to Northern Virginia reporter david culver.
