This comes as immigration and Customs Enforcement or i. C. E. Is pushing back on reports they are conducting Mass Immigration raids. In a series of tweets the agency said reports of checkpoints are false. Rumors have rattled several communities with reports spreading over social media. Homeland security raids they say targeted criminals. Crews are working to repair a broken water main in alexandria. The break sent water gushing into the air early this morning near the masonic temple in old town, alexandria. Megan mcgrath as more on what it took to stop the water. To clean up the debris blown out of this hole when the water main break early this morning and it was quite a gusher. Take a look at this video. This is when it first happened. This water main underneath park road in alexandria, obviously under pressure when it broke, it just sent a geyser, big stream of water up into the sky. Creating very slippery conditions here on park road. In fact, you can look at the tree here as it was really going, the spray would travel over with the wind and just literally coated this tree. In fact, right here at the masonic temple, right next door, some of the folks here that work there, they were worried about the health of the tree, whether or not it would move branches. Researchers like dr. Kelly performed mri brain scans on sleeping babies and on some they noticed bigger brains and able to predict 80 of the infants who with later be diagnosed with autism. If were able to detect it based on early brain development, we can begin interventions surprised as speech therapy, physical therapy, improve the longterm outcome of these children. The brain scans can also predict which high risk babies will not develop autism. But experts stress more studies are needed. This is still early and we want to look to provide answers right now but this does include that theres something on the horizon for them. So that just shows you the extent here it is windy and cold as we go through today. The wind direction will continue to. I wouldnt be surprised if we still saw lakeeffect not amounting to much but if we do happen to seef a burst it could lower visibility for a time. She says she was just doing her job but her part in putting america out front in the pioneering days of the space race and for her part in bringing her race from the back of the bus when they rode to work here, both earned a place in history books and in the movies. She is one of the three women whose story was told in a popular new film figures, the other two Dorothy Vaughn and mary jackson. The three were among the first female africanamericans to work for nasa, where job assignments in the segregated computers decision were far beneath the heights they would eventually climb. Through excellence in what they did and their perseverance in achieving equality. It gives only a glimpse of Katherine Johnsons wife away from nasa, raising three daughters as a single mother and new husband who she still shares her life with today. At 98 now, Katherine Johnson is a lone survivor of those three come to be known as hidden figures. Her brain can still pump out those numbers. Whats 7 times 12 . 84. That brain is still working.
