Theres new video of the crash last week. The corporal was on another call but heard the crash happen so he drove up and found the fireball, a man was inside. Eric and Christopher Morris kept the fire off the man. The legs were trapped but they managed to pull him hospital and he is expected to survive. Their school is full of bed bugs so a whole bunch of students and the district are taking classes at another campus and theyll be there for several weeks, Eric Gonzalez is live the latest on the closure at savoy elementary. Erika . That closure for savoy Elementary School, this may be a different fight for students and teachers and parents wanted to make sure they wanted an easy transition. They wanted to get back to things as usual inside the classroom. Same students, same teachers and different classrooms, once closed. The Elementary School is now the temporary learning ground for students of savoy elementary. This after rodents and at the school last week. This was the first time dr. Malek had seen a case outside medical school. Quite advanced lack of supply blood supply to his foot. The doctor treated joel with blood thinners at first to get the leg in better shape for operating. Very, very well. We were able to see a muscle band release it and get a very good technical result. Joels right leg seemed fine but dr. Mallek said its rare for only one leg to be affected. So he separated on joels right leg a few weeks later. Although joel says he still questions why this happened to him, he feels greatful it was caught in time and hes working towards building up his strength and getting his life back on track. Joel is on the way back to his former fitness level and knowing how close he came to losing his legs, has given him new perspective and the doctor is going to a medical conference in june where he will share what hes learned about this rare disorder. A maryland family is urging people to get vaccinated for the flu after losing their daughter. 17yearold kayla linton from lanz down wasnt vaccinated.
