School near harmony public Charter School. The victim walked inside the school looking for help. Megan mcgrath is live at the scene with what police are telling us. Reporter well, good morning. This happened at about 8 45 in the morning. Someone opened fire on a northeast. You can see the vehicle there involved. That is the silver honda at the intersection of todd place and first street. You can see several bullet holes in the hood of the car as well as the windshield. There are also a number of shell casings on the ground. I counted seven of them. The man who was injured was inside that vehicle here on todd place. I should mention todd place is right behind the harmony d. C. Public Charter School. The victim who was shot went into the school looking for help. We were told he was conscious and talking and is expected to survive those injuries. He did go inside the school seeking help. I spoke to a woman who lives in the area. She didnt want us to identify her but she heard all of the gun fire. Im sitting in my dining area and i heard the gun shots. It was about six shots. Reporter a officer on the scene who said everyone inside the school is okay. This happened behind harmony Charter School on the street. How do you decide when you are a young child which instrument you want to play . In the fifth grade i went to a petting zoo for Musical Instruments at my elementary school. And they had run out of almost everything when they got to q, my last name. Not only that but my mother said she was willing to drive me to schools on wednesdays with the tuba. And you . They needed a tuba player. And i volunteered. It must be interesting to meet other tuba players and find out how they got into it. When does it happen . It is this coming wednesday. The concert is at 6 p. M. It is free and open to the public. People dont have to come with a tuba. You can come just to listen . We have quite a following. People who look forward to this. We have so many young tuba player the parents will get to see them at a concert with professional tuba players. This kind of opportunity for them to sit side by side with players who have been doing it for 30 and 40 years. It is really an amazing thing. A lot of abstaining from meat. In southern italy it was a lot of fish, very prevalent. It just evolved into this feast. It could be seven different fish or ten different fish or a number of different fish depending on the tradition of the family. I like that it doesnt have to be an actual fish. Dishes. Today we have crab that we are going to prepare. This is going to be feast of seven fishes. This is part of our four course family style menu we have available. Smells delicious. If you help me punch out a couple of circles. We have a few prepared here. This is a ravioli. This is essentially a larger tortilini. All we are going to do is stuff it with crab filling. We have a few other ones here. Inside this we made a puree of scallo scallops. Pinch them nice and tight and then just make one more fold. How about that . Perfect. That shape there. Right now we prepared a saffron and butter sauce. You put the pasta in the sauce . Exactly. We have a few precooked that we made ahead of time here. If you will help me just shake that thing around a little bit. We will let that sauce come down nice and slow and let it glaze over. What is in the sauce . All we have done is add butter, fresh saffron. A high quality double zero flour is what you want to make your own dough. You can find it most the time at whole foods. Also, dont keep your pasta sitting out too long. Put it in the fridge or freezer so that doesnt crack or dry up too much. Can you make it ahead of time . I recommend to make a ton of it. Put it in the freezer. What about other tips . I feel cooking with fish to me is a little intimidating. What are tips about making the right fish for home cooking. The important part is to keep it simple. Also, its really picking out the right fish when going shopping. It is finding fresh fish and making sure it doesnt have odor to it, that it is a high quality fish. That is what is going to make that meal the best for you. We are going to let this come down a touch more. I will let you do the finishing touches. What are offerings on the menu . We have a whole roasted lobster that we covered with bread crumb. We have a wood grilled sword fish we will prepare. That sounds delicious. We will start off with tuna and finish with a couple of pastas just like this.
