That goes to show you just how violent this crash was. Let me show what you it looked like earlier today. According to Prince Georges County police, they say there was a car that was heading northbound here on edmonston road for some reason crossed over the line and hit headfirst into a trash truck that was going southbound at the tile. This happened around 4 30 in the morning. There were five people inside of that impala that hit the trash truck and one of the people inside of that impala died. That was the describer, who was behind the wheel of the car, and it also left the driver of that trash truck in serious and Critical Condition. Prince georges county police had this to say about the condition of the folks involved in this crash. The driver of the impala was pronounced dead onscene. There were the four other occupants, two were transported in Critical Condition. Two other occupants in the dhar sustained nonlifethreatens injuries and released onscene. The describe are of the trash truck, a man, adult male he was transported in Critical Condition. Reporter i talked to a witness who ran to the scene and told me there were people actually ejected from the, their vehicle. When this accident happened. The crash evidently, the impact was so strong it shook some of the houses nearby. People heard it sounded like an explosion. And as you can see, cleanup still under way here. Neighbors realized what was going on and say they began pounding on the doors yelling for everyone to get out of the burning home. One neighbor said people even threw rocks at the upstairs windows just in case the people were upstairs asleep in that upper room. They say the flames and the smoke, though were just too intense for them to go inside and they had no choice but to wait for the Fire Department to arrive. The flames were coming completely out of the out of the window and the flames were jetting up 15 20 feet in the air. And then, you know we got out.
