Man, a man saw the suspect and approached him. Hes sitting across the street parked in her car. And i just immediately came together that this was the guy. Reporter he called police. When they arrived, they found the suspect inside this cvs near georgetown. He handed the cops the keys to mccullys car, which was parked out front. Inside, they found her body. There appears to be trauma to the body. Well know more when the autopsy is complete. Reporter the suspect was driving around in her car for as long as 24 hours before he was caught. Mccully was last seen 4 30 christmas afternoon at her home on north capital street. Early monday morning, the suspect was seen with her car between 12 30 and 3 30 in the 3400 block of Georgia Avenue northwest. Then again around 8 00 a. M. In the 400 block of massachusetts avenue. And between 9 15 and 9 30 he was spotted at this cvs in. The 700 bloc northwest. And again between 11 00 and 11 50 a. M. In the 2300 block of Washington Place northeast. Then police say the suspect was spotted around 1 00 in the afternoon in the who 400 block of rhode island avenue northeast. And once more between 2 00 and 2 30 in the 2800 block of 7th street northeast. The final spotting was this morning just after midnight. The car and suspect seen here at this cvs at 22 skpnd m street northwest. This all ended here, but at that other cvs where the suspect attacked an employee while driving around in the victims car. I talked to that employee this afternoon. She told me that johnson entered the cvs acting strangely. She watched him go over to the aisle with hand soap and load a cart filled with all the soap and the manager confronted him and became agitated. She tried to call police and he attacked her and tried to grab the phone from her and she fled. It was hours later he was arrested here. What we now know about Adrian Johnson is last week he was arrested also at another cvs for Second Degree theft. He was ordered to be put on a gps monitor and to receive a Mental Health evaluation. We do not know if he ever got that gps or showed up for that Mental Health evaluation. He is due in court for his first appearance some time tomorrow afternoon. Gary holmes pled not guilty to capital murder in little rock, arkansas, courtroom.
