Today they marched to Howard University in memory of those killed in the line of duty. In light of the tensions and police shootings, the group is even more focused on strengthening ties with the community. A local man has admitted impersonating a top congressional aide to score Washington Redskins field passes and special treatment at an exclusive bar. His name is Jarrett Lewis. His case was first reported by our scott mcfarlane, who joins us now with the latest. He admits trying to impersonate the chief of f no relation between the two. Jared lewis admitted a scheme in which he pretended to be his closest confident. He said he did so between 2014 and 2015 to get field passes from the Washington Redskins and special treatment at the wellknown clevelander bar on south beach in miami. It was the bar that blew the whistle and notified the congressmans office, according to Court Proceedings today. Congressman lewis chief of staff is well known, michael collins. All of this started when a fight broke out between the protesters at a flagburning demonstration. All this happened near a checkpoint within several blocks of the arena. The Cleveland Police have issued a dispersal order for that area, meaning only delegates can come in. All media and everyone else had to clear out. As you mentioned, Caitlyn Jenner made a big appearance today at whats called the big tent brunch. She said it was easy to come out as trans. It was a lot harder to come out as republican. But her dad was in the military. That helped shape a lot of her political views. This suit claims any driver that comes through this toll plaza over the last couple of years should get money back in our pocket. You see the toll revenue here is being used to partly fund the silver line. This lawsuit claims that that is an abuse of power. Our money is being taken for a range of purposes and no one can have any check on that and vote them out. Reporter attorney Robert Cynkar is waging a battle, Class Action Lawsuit hes leading is taking direct aim at the Airport Authority saying bluntly it wields almost Unlimited Power to determine the scope of its own activities. Case in point, according to cynkar, toll revenue from the dulles toll road is being used to build metros silver line, a rail line that many drivers here will never use. If theyre going to take money from you, you get to vote the bums out if you dont like to what theyre doing. And this authority is to be independent from all over forms of government. They have no check on them, no one can vote them out. Reporter this isnt the first time one of these lawsuits has been filed against the authority, to this point unsuccessful. Cynkar is now focusing on their structure. These are little emperors who are takie ining billions of dol to build infrastructure according to their judgment.
