Reporter for the past two months theyve been processing more than 2,000 backlogged Sexual Assault kits from around virginia. News 4 got an exclusive look inside. Many of these kits are nearly old. Decades were seeing this unprecedented surge in testing that were experiencing today as were working with cities and states around the united states. He received the energy that it delivered and it was not with at his pulse back, but he did. When he left, he was awake. When he left folgers theater he was sit iting up and awake. Without Good Samaritans using their knowledge, courage to jump in and help resuscitate the good doctor, he would not have made it to the hospital. Reporter the 87yearold retired doctor said he ignored the warning signs leading up to his heart attack, like so many do. Very, very fortunate that there were people around me with the skills and the ability to take care of me, because i just crumpled. And i dont remember what happened. Reporter while grateful to the people he calls his heroes, all three, and the surgeon who performed quadruple bypass on cornfeld, want the public to lerch fr learn from this story. Its not that hard to take a couple of days out of your life and learn cpr and get prepared in case you need to save a loved one, or a stranger.
