Hes been arrested for allegedly having sex with a 14yearold student but hes still on the run after a federal judge in florida released him. News4s Mark Segraves broke this story on twitter. Alan coleman was supposed to be extradited last month but thats not happened and two months after his arrest hes still in florida out on bond. Alan coleman was arrested in gainesville, florida, last month. He was wanted by d. C. Police for having sex with a 14yearold girl who was hisc student at a acam me in southeast. Police records told Police Coleman would have him dress up in a purple wig and schoolgirl outfit and take pictures of her and have sex with her. A search warrant shows that coleman continued to have a sexual relationship with the teen for five years. He left his job at kipp d. C. Shortly after he started having sex with her. Both schools notified parents of the allegations after coleman was arrested last month. In a letter to parents, the founder of kipp academy says they are cooperating with the police investigation. The Charter School principal told parents once they learned of the allegation, coleman was suspended and then fired. Theres no indication that there were any victims at the capital city Charter School. After being fired from his school in d. C. , coleman moved to gainesville, flori worked as a High School Teacher and tennis coach. He was placed on leave from that job after his arrest last month. He was to be extradited to face the charges but a federal judge in florida released him. Now, according to Court Records from florida, the judge released coleman on a 50,000 bond and hes required to wear a monitoring device but it remains unclear when hell have to return to face the charges in d. C. Because the judge hasnt set a hearing date. So until that happens and when coleman is notified of that date, he can remain free on bond. This is unbelievable. How was he getting hired if the allegations date back to 04 . Because even until today, he has a clean police record. Hes only been charged and arrested. He hasnt even had his First Court Hearing and even if i ran the database, it comes up as a clean record because he hasnt been convicted. The video released today that i watched confirms what police have said about this incident. The groups that have been pushing for more transparency would like to see more. Were not going to show you that video in its entirety because of the graphic nature. A gofund me page raised 26,000 for jeff aguilar, described as a young man with a heart of gold. The Fairfax County officer who struck and killed him did not bear any responsibility, calling it an unfortunate accident. The video released today on youtube seems to bear that out. There is Poor Visibility as the officer turns on to the street and the light ahead is green. He has the rightofway when suddenly thec victim is in his path. Happened, the officer stopped, immediately exited, called for an ambulance and rendered medical aid. An 8yearold boy remains in Critical Condition tonight in new york city. The boy fell into a pool on a Royal Caribbean cruise ship after it left port yesterday. The ship turned back to port. Reporter an unidentified 8yearold boy fell into one of the ships pools. c according to the coast guard, the child was under water for eight to ten minutes before he was pulled out. The cruise ship left new jersey on thursday afternoon bound to bermuda. Medical emergency while out on the sea. Reporter medical staff performed cpr on the boy and a helicopter later landed on the ship to wisp the water away to the hospital. The cruise ship turning around to bring the large family back to a waiting bus. Earlier this morning, we are assisting a family of 8yearold boy sailing on anthem of the seas who had an accident and we are providing support to his family.
