They say that they have reviewed the surveillance camera and those pieces of video also dont indicate or dont show the moment when mr. Gray was injured. We do know it happened on sunday april 12th about 8 40 in the morning and stopped. Why was he stopped . Not a very clear answer. It appears he made eye contact with an officer and ran. They chased him and then at that point when they were arresting him at some point over 20 to 30 minutes he suffered a serious injury. 80 severance of his spinal cord. And he was in a coma for the better part of a week before dying. The question is where did that injury occur . During the arrest or while he was in the back of the wagon being taken to Police Headquarters . It wasnt until he was at the station that they called paramedics. They transported him to shock trauma. The mayor has said she believes it occurred in police custody. I said are you looking at a Homicide Investigation involving the police . Her answer was well take the investigation wherever it goes. Baltimore has a rough reputation with the police force. The Police Commissioner said he is determined to be transparent and get out whatever information of how this occurred. Quickly, what do we know in this particular case how many officers were involved and know about them if anything . Reporter we believe originally that there were three bicycle officers who were involved. They tracked him down. They then arrested him. They called for a wagon. That wagon responded and picked him up. At some point mr. Gray asked for an inhaler and then it was over the course of the next five to ten minutes in which the driver of the van reported that mr. Gray was irate and the driver asked for somebody to then come and put him in leg restraints and then about five minutes later or so the driver asked for somebody to come check on him. And then paramedics called 20 minutes later d. The injury occur being put back in the van, as he was in the van driving . Did he somehow fall and wasnt able to brace himself .
