Police have arrested a man in southern virginia and he is now charged with murdering two women in maryland. Earlier today, officers found the victims in a home in oxen hill. Derek ward has more from that neighborhood along chloe drive. Reporter police have arrested 54yearold malcolm paul thomas. He was arrested in wakefield, virginia, his listed address here on chloe drive in oxen hill where bodies two victims were found. After Someone Called Police to check on the occupants of the home. Police found the two women dead. Police are only saying that the pair suffered trauma to their upper bodies. Theyve been here about four years or so. Reporter by nightfall, investigators returned to the home taking what appeared to be more evidence from the scene. Early on, police said this didnt appear to be a random crime. They said it was domestic and that calmed some of the fears among neighbors but not the xshlg of having a double murder so close to home. You see it on television. You hear about it. Then you wake up one morning to the police knocking on your door and you find out that very thing is going on next door. It is very, very, very unnerving.
