When you were on the show the first time around, you had super famous guest stars on the show. We did. We had everybody. We had a lot of popstars. Jimmy who was on the show . Madonna, cher, j. Lo, janet jackson, elton john. We had matt damon. He was great. Hes not a popstar, i dont think. Jimmy hes not even a star. [ laughter and applause ] he is a popstar. Jimmy hold on a second. Ill clear the whole room if i have to. Yeah, but it was interesting. We had a lot of other like famous, movie star type people, but then the popstars were really interesting. Jimmy i bet. Everybody was really cool, though. Jimmy were they . A lot cooler than you would think. Madonna was very cool. And i thought she was really nice and really present. She worked really, really hard. She wasnt a prima donna. She didnt really jimmy even though thats literally her name. [ laughter ] it is. Madonna. But she didnt necessarily know our real names in real life. Because why should she . And so the cast, like some of the cast were really offended, like she doesnt even know my name. Im like, who cares madonnas doing our show. Jimmy so shed be like, hi, will, hi grace . Kinda. In a nice way. She doesnt need to know our names for crying out loud. Shes doing the show, who cares. And then cher was on, and i always thought, oh cher seemed so cool. And i ever met her, i know wed be best friends. Well, not really, because jimmy no . She wasnt i met her really briefly, but that was it, because they kept her like they dropt her in on one of those like a crane came and dropped her into the set and then they airlifted her back out at the end of the scene. And we didnt get to talk to her at all. Jimmy really . No. She had this huge trailer that she never even went into. That was outside like a motor home outside of our sound stage, and she never went in. And all the writers on our show got in and took a picture in chers bed. Even though she was never in it. Jimmy you get the idea that cher doesnt know maybe these crazy requests are being made on her behalf. Why would you not go in the trailer . I would go in the trailer and pretend to be in the trailer because i wouldnt want to think i know. I asked them to get this 100,000 trailer and i never went in. Jimmy and then didnt use it. She liked sean, she invited sean to go to her castle in italy for thanksgiving. And he was like, no. Jimmy what hes so funny. One time he went to ireland for two weeks with his mother. Ireland is so beautiful. He got back, and goes, oh, i was so bored. Just not his thing. Jimmy i dont know. Rejecting an invitation to vacation with cher, they could take away your gay credentials for something [ laughter and applause ] jimmy i have to say. Youre right. Jimmy so this movie youre in with james franco and Bryan Cranston, really, those are good guys. I know. And the movies so funny. Jimmy i think Everybody Knows hes a great guy. James franco is a good guy, but hes weird, right . Hes a weird person . Yeah. He was talking about how normal his family upbringing was. And i was like, thats so interesting, because youre the weirdest one out of any of us. But hes really nice and hes very smart and hes really into a lot of, you know, Different Things in the culture. But there is he has a sort of mystique. So in order to demystify him, i started calling him jim french. Jimmy thats his translation. I think its so good. Jimmy i think it makes him more mysterious in a way. Hi, im jim french. Yeah, thats true. Jimmy ill run jim french by him the next time hes on the show. Did he like it . No, not really.
