From the game after just four batters. His hand bleeding on the mound, his finger injured by a drone. All while his team makes a run for the world series. And the price is so right. That had not one, not two, but three contestants jumping for joy. The epic game show stunner. Fireball i came i saw i conquered we do say good morning, america. What a moment. What a moment on the price is right. You see all those contestants excited. In 45 years of seasons it has never happened before and in reaction to this as great as it was it aired 45 years ago people still that excited. Pretty great. A lot more on that. But we begin with the race for the white house. Exactly three weeks until the final votes. Melania trump is speaking out for the First Time Since the release of that access Hollywood Tape and overnight donald trump troubdoubling down his allegations of voter fraud and our tom llamas spoke with him. Good morning, tom. Reporter george, good morning to you. Those comments about Speaker Paul Ryan were striking. This as Melania Trump is telling the country women who accused her husband of Sexual Assault shouldnt do so unless they have evidence. I believe my husband. I believe my husband. This was all organized from the opposition and with the details that they got, did they ever check the background of these women . Reporter trumps wife melania in front of the cameras for the First Time Since the convention breaking her silence on cnn about the now infamous access hollywood recording. When youre a star they let you do it. You can do anything. Whatever you want. Grab them by the [ bleep ]. Can you do anything. Reporter melania blaming billy bush. Boy talk and he was lead on like egg on from the host to say dirty and bad stuff. You feel the host billy bush was sort of egging him on . Yes, yes. Reporter but melania also saying trumps immaturity played a role. Yeah, its kind of two teenage boys actually they should behave better, right . He was 59. Correct, and sometimes i said i have two boys at home. I have my young son and i have my husband. The behavior described to you, is that Sexual Assault . No, thats not Sexual Assault. He didnt say he did it and i see many, many women coming to him and giving a phone number and, you know, want to work for him or inappropriate stuff from women and they know hes married. So youve seen that. Oh, yes, of course, it was in front of me. In front of you. In front of me. And i said like why you need to give your number to my husband . Im very strong. Reporter with melania describing women throwing themselves at trump i asked if hes taken advantage. Have you crossed the line. I dont think so. I have tremendous respect for women. These women come up maybe for a little fame or some other reason. Reporter overnight donald trump sim amplifying his claims the election may be stolen from him, this time adding dead voters into the mix. More than 1. 8 million deceased individuals right now are listed as voters. Oh, thats wonderful. Well, if theyre going to vote for me well think about it, right . Reporter do you think he wants you to win. Well, maybe not because he wants to run in nour years or maybe he doesnt know how to win. Maybe he doesnt know how to win. Reporter on the issue of voter fraud an election expert tells abc news its incredibly rare and politifact is ranking Donald Trumps use of certain stats to show large scale voter fraud as pants on fire false. Its lowest ranking. Robin. Thank you. Now to Hillary Clinton looking to Gain Momentum and expand into traditionally red states. Her campaign dramatically wrapping up efforts in arizona. This morn shes facing tough new questions about her emails and Abcs Cecilia Vega has all that. Reporter good morning to you and this morning, allegations of a quid pro quo. The implication here that a Top State Department official was trying to protect Hillary Clinton from the political fallout of having classified information on her private server. The state department and the fbi say it never happened but republicans say not so fast. The stars were out for a big Hillary Clinton fundraiser overnight in new york. Billy crystal, Sarah Jessica park parker, barbara surprise and just to name a few raising at least 2 million dollars. But this morning newly released notes from fbi interviews about clintons private server, in them, what republicans are calling this bombshell. An fbi staffer accuses a Top State Department official of pressuring the bureau to declarify an email found on that server. The fbi staffer telling investigators the request ammed to a quote, quid pro quo adding in exchange for marking the email unclassified, state would reciprocate by allowing the fbi to place more agents in countries where they are presently forbidden. The fbi and state department say the deal never happened. There was no quid pro quo and that the email in question rema remained classified. There was no quid pro quo. This shows corruption at the highest level and we cant let it happen as american citizens. Reporter clintons team still feeling confident about the election expanding efforts in republican territory, arizona, utah and georgia. And in arizona three big name surrogates, bernie sanders, Chelsea Clinton and the heaviest hitter of all Michelle Obama all headed there this week. Clinton herself still off the campaign trail behind closed doors practicing for tomorrows debate. Big event tomorrow night, cecilia, thanks very much. Lets talk to matthew dowd about all of this. We know the Clinton Campaign now going big into arizona, making some kind of a play in indiana and missouri. As well. So the question, is this smart politics or overconfidence . I think its a little of both. I think its fairly smart to force your opponent playing on her opponents side of the feel and the clock is on her side. The clock is running out. She has a lead but it is demonstrating a little bit ofover confidence because she has not put away ohio and has not fully put away North Carolina and has not put away florida so has to protect those states because she wants to win one of those states but i think she has a real estate of carrying arizona. Even though she doesnt need one of those three big states she wants it for security going for the 270. Tomorrow night, final president ial debate and a little of what each has to do. Donald trump, we have seen what hes doing. Hes going to try to provoke a mistake. She has almost wrapped this race up. She has a Huge National lead. A lead in almost every state. He has to win but he cant just have a bare victory but a big victory and hope for some reason at that debate she does something that all of us are going to be talking about for the three days following. The danger for her would be sort of overcautiousness. Well, i think shes going to go in and knows that running out the clock is what she needs to do. If she goes in like she did in the first debate and second debate and does well, shes going to win this race. Okay, matthew dowd, thanks very much. He apologized to me and i expect i accept his apology. And we are moving on. Reporter Melania Trump not only defends her husband, she goes on the attack. Is it fair for the media to bring up bill clintons past or for donald trump to bring up bill clintons past . If they bring my past, why not . So theyre asking for it. Theyre asking for it. Reporter the couple first met at a Fashion Week Party in 1998. She told Harpers Bazaar she refused to give trump her phone number. Shes mostly stayed off the campaign trail to raise him until her most maligned appearance at the Republican Convention this summer. The only limit to your achievements the only limit to the height of your achievements is the reach of your dreams and your willingness to work hard for them. And your willingness to work for them. I was never friend with her. I would not recognize her. Reporter so as the campaign wipeds down, mrs. Trump is hoping to land some punches before the final bell. People wont want to go against him but my husband is real. Hes raw. He tells as it is. Reporter according to the new york times, trumps aides urged melania to show her support for her husband by doing a sitdown interview with trump. Melania reportedly did not like that idea. In her interview with fox news she is very clear she is her own woman and no one will make her do anything she doesnt want to do. Robin and george. Okay, linsey, thanks very much. Lets bring had Cokie Roberts to talk more about it. Cokie, as linsey pointed out in the piece right there, real echoes of Hillary Clinton both in 1998 and 1992, question today is how effective was it . Probably not terribly effective in the same way that Hillary Clinton wasnt terribly effective in those interviews. I think that its keeping the story alive for one thing but another is that Melania Trump in some ways is not terribly recognizable to a lot of voters. During the Republican Convention i interviewed a number of republican female delegates who basically said that they couldnt relate to her. She was too beautiful, she was too rich and that they didnt see her as an authentic person in the same way that people see Michelle Obama, for instance. She was very much going after the accusers. It seems like that was part of the strategy in having her come out and speak, cokie. Well, in some ways i think that that in some ways was her most effective part because it was about her as opposed to being about her husband where they went after me so why not. But, again, that brings up her past and gives people excuses to put out nude pictures of her which is not terribly helpful to the campaign. I think the other part you would say to be effective is see her publicly accepting her husbands apology. Well, which, of course, she did in the statement and now shes done publicly, as well but, again, i dont think that that is something that people would expect her to do anything else but accept his apology. But, you know, look, looking at voters who basically say they dont care, weve got a very partisan electorate right now, what i do think might be true is that it might have energized some of Hillary Clintons voters to say we dont want this man. I know, because Martha Raddatz was here picking up on what you were just saying, cokie, Martha Raddatz was here, she spoke to voters who basically said, it doesnt matter. It doesnt matter what he did. So as a bigger deal being made out of it than it really is . Well, i think that no, i really dont think so. I think even if it doesnt matter to a lot of voters who are very firmly set in their place that it has started a national conversation, robin. True, true. That women are feeling a little empowered by saying this is this is not okay and theres a whole twitter site not okay with thousands of women on it now telling their own stories, so i think this has a life even beyond this campaign. Yeah, the reaction has been extraordinary when you really break it down. All right, cokie, thanks so much. Good to be with you. Coming up on the big board . A lot. Up next what fellow republicans are saying about Donald Trumps claims the election is rigged. And also what one guy did to get himself banned from the tennis court. Our team of insiders standing by live for more on this mornings top stories as we said, Patrick Mcenroe is here at the table. Well get to mac in just a moment. Lets start with donald trump. Ramping up those allegations that the president ial election is rigged. Overnight at a rally in green bay, wisconsin, again hammering home the claim. They even want to try to rig the election at the polling booths and believe me, theres a lot going on. Did you ever hear of these people. They say theres nothing going on. People that have died ten years ago are still voting. Illegal immigrants are voting. I mean, where are the street smarts of some of these politicians . And we got jon karl joining us now from the battleground state of florida which was the e epicenter of the last president ial election controversy. And dont have to tell you, trump is not letting this one go, jon. Oh, he is up obsessed with this everywhere he is talking about this. This morning he is still tweeting about it and this is a bedrock principle of american democracy, the peaceful transition of power, the integrity of our election systems. He is saying that they dont have integrity, so i asked one of the Republican Leaders hes talking about last night, i moderated a debate here in florida last night between the Senate Candidates and asked marco rubio about this. Listen to his response. Theres been a lot of question about the legitimacy of this election. Donald trump has said this election is absolutely being rigged. This election is not being rigged and ill explain to you why its not in florida and why i hope he stops saying that. Why he should stop saying that. We have 67 counties in this state. Each of which conduct their own elections. I promise you there is not a 67county conspiracy to rig this election. Well, and that heres noerz thing, robin, when you talk about this, local Election Officials in much of the country are republicans, fact, in the two biggest battleground states, ohio and florida, the two top Election Officials are republicans. But, jon, what do they do to ensure the elections are fair and because of what donald trump is saying do you think this year theyre extra careful . Reporter oh, yes, i think there will be an eagle eye on all of the election largely because of what donald trump is saying but really this was the case before donald trump uttered the word rigged. I mean, i was down here covering the florida recount in 2000, believe me, after that process, people did a big scrub of the election process, teams of lawyers for both parties, this is something that has been looked at very carefully for a long time. Good point there, jon. All right. Well, thank you, jon. Now to outrage over a 911 dispatcher accused of hanging up on more than 800 emergency calls. Shes now facing two misdemeanor counts with potentially more to come legal analyst areva martin joining us now. Investigators say she may have hung up on even more callers than the 800 they know about including one that ended in a fatality, but have you ever heard of anything like this . No, michael. This is an outrageous case. This woman Crenshanda Williams may have hung up on thousands of callers and as you said two really serious cases, one involving an Armed Robbery where there was a Fatal Shooting and a second one involving a woman who became unconscious. Her husbands calling 911 talking to miss williams trying to administer cpr and she hangs up on him. Now, fortunately for this woman, shes revived and she has survived this ordeal. But these are very serious accusations against someone who was entrusted with a very serious job of providing Emergency Assistance and she just said she didnt have time for the callers. Accusations, areva and also charges. Two misdemeanor charges. What do you make of that . Well, i think the law thats being used to prosecute miss williams wasnt really designed for someone in her situation. It wasnt designed for a dispatcher whose job was to provide assistance. But at least she is facing some jail time. Possibly up to a year and her supervisors are also being disciplined. Boy, thats the last thing you expect when you call 911. Areva, thank you. We move on to the controversy surround a top ranked it ennis playing, Australias Nick Kyrgios banned the rest of the season when he seemingly just quit during a match. Take a look. Doesnt even try for it. So, Patrick Mcenroe, lets talk horrendous. You played at the top level. Sport if thank you for saying that. You have. Thats up for debate, but, okay. Not at all. When you see Something Like that well, your first reaction is one of disgust and disdain, okay, but then when you take a step back i think you have to realize that this really in a lot of ways from kyrgios was a cry for help. I mean to hit a serve like this, to literally tap the serve as he did is basically telling everyone that i dont care. I dont want to be here. I want no part of competing in this match. This guy has a history of doing things like this. Lets also say that hes a very talented player. Hes got some swagger. Hes got some personality. He could be a grand slam champion if he gets his act together so i think the atp tour did the right thing, they banned him for the rest of this year but gave him an option that if he goes to see a sports psychologist and gets some help which i believe he needs that he could get the ban reduced and be ready to play at the Australian Open start of next year. I think that was the right decision by the tour. Maybe that will take him to the next level. It should. It could and i think for him hes got to look in the mirror and realize that hes got a problem. I think he realizes that and he has said in some Facebook Comments and some twitter comments that he realizes he made a big mistake because initially he was yelling at people in the crowd. People were saying you be a professional out there. He yelled at the people in the crowd. He yelled at the chair umpires and said get me out of here as quickly as i can. I mean, michael, can you imagine you letting a running back just go just right past you. No. No, i dont think so. Not on purpose. Thats what this guy did, did it on purpose. You think its a bigger issue here. Theres a bigger issue that he has and i think we need he needs to understand that there are consequences for his actions but he also needs to understand we need to understand in the tennis world this guy needs some help and we should give him some help. Hopefully hell heed the advice and can end up being a great player you said he could be. Now, thank you, pat, areva and jon, thank you all so much. Doesnt appear hes looking for any validation, not even a grammy. A source confirmed to billboard neither of his oceans were submitted for grammy consideration by the september 30th deadline. So i had an important conversation with my dermatologist about humira. He explained that humira works inside my body to target and help block a specific source of inflammation that contributes to my symptoms. In clinical trials, most adults taking humira were clear or almost clear, and many saw 75 and even 90 clearance in just 4 months. Humira can lower your ability to fight infections, including tuberculosis. Before treatment, get tested for tb. That tango got jana kramer a perfect score on dancing with the stars. It was latin night. Of course, one couple did have to go home and well talk to maks in just a little bit. First, though, weve got that new Health Headline about diabetes and exercise and why when you work out really matters. Abcs chief health and medical editor dr. Richard besser joining us now with that and lets say were talking about type 2 diabetes. Exactly, exactly. You got nearly 10 of americans have this and one this three are sort of socalled prediabetics so thats a lot of people right there. How much exercise do people need to reduce this risk. So this is really interesting. They looked at 28 studies that followed thousands of people over many years to try to address that and what they found was if you do the 30 minutes five times a week which is recommended, it greatly reduces the amount your risk of getting type 2 diabetes. If you do more than that your risk goes down even further but what really grabbed me was that if you do less, if you do only ten minutes a day you get some benefit compared to people who do nothing so every bit helps. You shouldnt be put off by the fact i dont have enough time. More is more and timing was also very important in the study, correct . So, a separate study looked athe people who have type 2 diabetes. You got your 30 minute, do it as one block or break it up. So they had people for one period of time do it in one block of 30 minutes and the other they did ten minutes right after eating a meal and when they found if you do the ten minutes just go for a tenminute walk after you eat your meal it greatly reduces blood sugar, 22 lower blood sugar with just a tenminute walk. The Science Behind common sense. Is that just because your engine so to speak is working and processing food better. Walking helps you digest but its controlled by ins wlin and when you exercise it helps our cells use the insulin and also causes our muscles to burn up that sugar so, you know, theres good reasons for why that bounces out your sugar and a great thing to do. In addition to exercise what else can people do. We talk about it all the time. If you can maintain a healthy weight or if youre overweight losing just 5 of your body weight, thats enough to dramatically reduce your risk of having type 2 diabetes. Its hard to do but its really worth that effort. All of it doable too. It is. Even a little bit of exercise. Even a little bit of weight. Getting a partner for both of those is a great way to get started. It really helps your chances of succeeding. Good information. Thanks. Coming up well hear from maks. Hes joining us live. Reporter talking to our cameras overnight. A lot of people assume im a certain way and im glad i had an opportunity for people to see me in a different light. Im an activist. Im a feminist. Im a mom. Im forever going to be a down home felony girl. Reporter confessing the past few weeks center stage have been tough. Its not easy. Its extremely hard. But it was a lot of fun and im glad that i did it. Reporter and overnight, maks writing this heartfelt post on instagram saying thank you for some of the best weeks of his dancing career and that she made him proud. And overnight maks also telling us what surprised him the most about his partner how shy amber was. She had even requested to wear sunglasses during the show aside most people may not know about her. You know who is equally shy, our maks. We somehow pull it out of him. Welcome back. I love the hat, maks and val, yes, yes. Hey, your Instagram Post was so beautiful talking about amber and Something Else that you said. You said the world has yet to see what she can really do. What did you mean by that . I dont think well, i personally didnt know who this person was. I knew of her. I knew, you know, same as people reading tabloids and stuff but, you know, one of the beautiful things about the show is you get to find out who the person really is, you know, behind all the lights and stuff and i was surprised to find out that shes just so chill and down to earth. I was expecting some sort of like internet vixen type of personality and its far from the truth. Thats sweet. But the show is also giving us a chance to know who you are and Everybody Loves you, man. Youre awesome. Youre a good man. When i read this i was a little upset. Youre not going to be back next season but when i read the reason why i was so excited because youre going to be at home preparing to be ready for the baby but are you ready for the baby in january . I am ready, yeah, i think well, i mean i think im ready but everybody around us seem to think that you know, its always this little smirk and like, youll find out. And so i have a list of like ten things im going to find out about but i cant wait. They dont come with directions. You just have to figure it out as you go. He will and peta. What did you think about last night . What did you think about last night . I loved it. I loved actually i went home and watched our performance but this whole thing got sneaked up on us and its between us and Calvin Johnson and im like, come on. Could this have been at least but, you know, i think everybody is doing a great job and i was very proud of amber and us together i think the number was great. I think everything that i asked her for she did. I pushed a lot. She tried to push back but just naturally and, you know, i think we came out with a great season. Shes going to have a couple of beautiful dances to look back and be proud of. It doesnt baby doesnt come with directions but you kind of need some, dont you. You need some help so we got a little help for you so bring it on out, you guys. Oh, my god. There you go. Diaper duty. Thats the diaper duty you were talking about. I cant wait. I cant wait, you guys and thank you so much. This is amazing. Thats one thing i keep being told theres not enough diapers. And theres never enough of you, maks. Well be back. Absolutely. Good morning, im tamala edwards. 8 27 on this tuesday october 18th. Lets head over to karen rogers. This time shes start on 95. That doesnt look too bad. Yeah, when you look right here you think not too horrible but you got to check out the travel time, tam amount 42 minute jam. Thats a good size delay from woodhaven to the vine so this is i95 southbound past cottman. No problems here at cottman but we are looking at a good size delay as you look at i95 southbound trying to head towards center city and down near columbus boulevard were hearing about an accident there that may be blocking a lane. Lets head over to the pennsylvania turnpike cause were having problems right now with the pennsylvania turnpike as we switch over to that and here we are eastbound at bensalem and were watching for an accident. Look at these speeds. 12 miles an hour, so really heavy traffic in both directions on the pennsylvania turnpike. In pottstown weve got an accident here with injuries blocking a lane right on Wilson Street at evans street and mass transit seeing a number of delays at this point doylestown a 21 minute delay, 20 on the norristown line, 25 minute in newark and overcrowding issues with Chestnut Hill west tam. Thank you karen. Lets go over to meteorologist, david murphy. If you have to wait for the bus or train david not a bad day. Not much wind and as you take a look at temperatures tam were starting to climb up into the 60s in a good portion of the region. Allentown still al at 55. This afternoon looking at records falling. Going for a high of 86 today in philadelphia. Sunshine. That would beat the record in philadelphia by 1 degree. Tomorrow more record warmth, the record is 80, well go 85. Then thursday close to a record with that high of 78 degrees. There will be some showers around at times and it will be humid on thursday. Then breezy and cooler on friday as this big ridge starts to push off the coast. We go down to 71 with a shower and low 60s for the weekend, tam. Definitely feeling like autumn again. Okay, thank you david. Thats it for us right now. Back to that last half hour of gma. Well see you here in 30. Welcome to my house [ applause ] welcome back to Good Morning America. On this terrific tuesday, a lot ahead. A lot coming up. Michael, get us started. Okay, what im bringing to the table is really what mario batali is bringing to the table at the white house tonight. He prepared the obamas final state dinner which will honor the italian Prime Minister and i looked at the menu, you know, and im going to read the menu. Agnolati, piccorino, brac ichir. Basically its a bunch of stuff i cant pronounce but it sounds delicious. Anybody know what kind of pasta that is. Little pillows. Like baby raf reallies. Thats delicious. In any pasta is good pasta. I dont care how its shaped all sounds italian but everything is used with american ingredients because its the white house. Wow. If you were going to host a party like this a state dinner who would you have prepare it and what wow ask for. Marcus samuelsson. I get him first. I get to pick him first. Oh, yes. Marcus, marcus. If this would be a restaurant you definitely would be the guest, you should eat the food and george should sell the food. But you prepared obamas first state dinner. So what goes into this meal . Well, you know, its a lot of preparation and everything getting checked, the right ingredients get in and right now, you know its such a big honor and mario has done so much but this still would be a day that hell always remember. For me its one of the biggest honors ive had to cook for our president and the first lady. Marcus, youre such a terrific chef. [ applause ] but knowing mario, having been there, will he have a case of the nerves today . A little bit. I mean a little bit nervous is not bad.
