He tells investigators on july 5 he agreed to sell jimi patrick four pounds of marijuana for 8,000 and drove him to his familys 90acre farm. When he had 800 he offered to sell him a shotgun. Instead he shot him and used a backhoe to bury his body. On july 7 he decided to sell dean finocchiaro marijuana. He picked up his cousin and they planned to rob him. They took him to the farm where kratz shot him in the head. On july 7. In and around nar meets Cosmo Dinardo meets up with tom meo and mark sturgis to make a drug deal. They head to the farm where kratz is waiting. In addition in addition shoots tom meo in the back and starts screaming. Mark sturgis runs away. He shots him in the back. He put all three bodies in the oil tank called a pig roaster. They may have not have ever found jimi patricks remains had they not made the plea deal with Cosmo Dinardo. We found him. District said Cosmo Dinardo killed 19yearold jimi patrick on july a 5th and buried him him in a single grave on the family farm. Tom meo, mark sturgis, dean finocchiaro were found in a 12foot deep grave a different location from patricks grave, but on the same property. The only motive disclosed by investigators, Cosmo Dinardo said he wanted to set the victims up when they came to the farm to buy marijuana. His attorney said he confessed to the involvement in the crimes in exchange for a promise from prosecutors to not seek the Death Penalty.
