That is not cool, look, they have not necessarily been forthcoming for a while. Yeah, i think so. I guess they are protecting themselves, they dont like you know people panicking. And the problem with not being forthcoming though is you get into all the scenarios where people are like oh, are they trying to lose games, you dont trust them about anything do you agree . They have lost, they asked a lot from the fan base over the last four years, the first three years in the first round they won 47 games and to not be honest with your fan base that is your number one star and the only reason to come to games because they are benching Jahill Okafor and he is the star and to be honest he has a knee injury and if its not serious and does not require surgery just be honest, they knew about this when the injury happened against portland. That is the shame because i talked to fans who had tickets for last week everyone is hoping he will play because Everyone Wants to see him, he is the guy, the only reason to go see the games basically these days and the fact is they probably knew they were not going to play him obviously but were coming out on a daytoday basis and sitting here waiting when is he coming back. He started having swelling and that was an issue and says he is Getting Better but still not quite 100 . Im not healthy. I got to look at my knee. It has a bruise. Like i said i got to slow down like i said and he is all about vision. All right jeff if he is not healthy why is he out dancing . Everyone is talking about his little performances at the concert on friday the guy has moves, can you do this jeff . Can you dance like that. I can barely sit here and do this. Its something he shouldnt be doing on a partially torn meniscus. They are not thrilled about it and sixers fans earlier and this is similar to the andrew binam and went out bowling and salsa dancing down in spain while this is going on and bead has endured to the city with it more and he is 22 years old, he is a kid, he gets invited to a concert and gets invited on stage by mil but the sixers did talk to him about this because the perception is not great when youre a guy who has not played in 12, 13 games and sat out 9 straight. I think despite how fancy and spiffy the moves were its probably to dance like that than it is to go against other 7 footers in the nba night in and night out and not the same exertion. I have seen him at practice and moving well and the swelling the day after is the issue, if she is going to get hurt at a concert he will get hurt at a game going against 200, 300 pound guys so i see the point but bead says look he is a young guy and he will continue to have fun. Look, i saw people said i wasnt playing but im 22 years old so im having fun and you know that is what i have been doing the whole year and im going to keep on doing. Can i just say this, dont ever change jahill. I have grown to love this guy. Dont change. Imagine the rest of his career all the times he will dance on stage somewhere this will be fantastic. Glad he didnt ask me to dance on stage and he asked jahill and all right has Jahill Okafor played the final game with the sixers and he did not travel with the team to charlotte where they will play tomorrow and sixers are trying to complete a trade with okafor before next thursdays deadline is this a mistake trading okafor they obviously realized he is not as fit, is this a big mistake that can come back to haunt them . I say no, he doesnt play the defense, i see this team is built around defense and i like what bring to the table much more and i think three is a crowd and they have too many guys and dont think they should sit here banking what if he gets hurt or noel leaves and should get rid of him. Probably right moving on from okafor but here is the problem you have only given us 80 minutes and these two barely played together and okafor and bead barely played together and it has been bead and how can you make that determination after 8 games and barely 80 minutes and could be jumping the gun here that is my belief that they have not given this enough of a look where brett brown all of last year was talking about the twin towers and take a step further with noel, noel and bead have not played that much together so that is where i have an issue, they waited so long and they put us through this entire process of waiting to get these draft picks and having these horrible seasons, the worst seasons arguably in nba history and all the sudden these guys are not playing them together, what is the harm if you are not making the playoffs any way putting bead and okafor out there together for 40 games for half of a season. I say start looking at other pieces in the puzzle. Where would you say you guys are in the rebuilding process now because we all know we talked a million times everyone is in a rush to see you win again. Ive had a lot of interaction with ownership throughout the off season and know this much as soon as this team, as soon as the young core of this team is ready to take that next step or shows they are taking the next step we are going to i have no doubt whatsoever we will make the investments to add the to care and take the steps we need to take and be prudent when we do it and how we do it.
