Reporter well sara, the 18yearold was shot once and stumbled inside of the home just before he collapsed and while his family comes to terms of this tragedy police have been working throughout the night and day to try and find his killer. The morning after an overnight shootout left a teen dead and the streets and nearby park in this south philadelphia neighborhood were quiet and mostly empty. People walking by and now nobody. Its really quiet. At 11 30 last night Third District Police Officers responded to a shooting at the 2300 block of marshall street. 10 shots there on marshall street. And we didnt know if it was shots or fireworks until we came out and there was no one outside. Its unusual for that to happen in this area. They found an 18yearold with a gunshot wound to his back. The victims brother told action news that his brother was outside of the home with a friend when the shots rang out more than a dozen of them. A lot of violence in the neighborhood and there were people crying. Another brother witnessed the aftermath when the bloody victim stumbled into the home. The mother and siblings were too distraught to go on camera. They found 15 shell casings on the 2300 block of South Marshall street as well as blood inside of the property where the victim ran into and blood and a projectile outside of the house. He was listed at the hospital in Critical Condition and later pronounced dead at 1 00 a. M. Reporter and police interviewed two witnesses one of them the brother to try to get some information. We understand they are trying to get ahold of Surveillance Footage and have no motive and no suspect description that has been released. Anyone with information is asked to contact police. They responded to a call that a woman was smashing car and house windows. They tried to get ahold of the woman and that led to a scuffle. They used a taser and took her in for observation and the officer is recovery. Police are investigating an apparent Home Invasion in camby park delaware. It happened at the Mill Creek Village apartments. A man in his 20s was shot and wounded during a scuffle with two men who broke into his apartment. The victim is hospitalized in serious condition.
