Stormtracker 6 live double scan right now shows us that we are precipitation free and as we look outside, we have plenty of sunshine across the region sky 6 hd showing you center city nice and bright and you do need a coat outside its cold and windy, 35 in philadelphia and winds out of the northwest at 17 Miles Per Hour. And this time yesterday we were talking about numbers in the 60s, no more across the region right now 40 in millville and 40 in dover and 36 in trenton and up in allentown are you at 35 degrees not all that far above the freezing mark and strong winds from the northwest it feels like 20s in the region the sustained wind, 17 Miles Per Hour in philadelphia and up close to 30 in wilmington and all of us are dealing with wind gusts of 20 or 30 or so. Up in allentown, a lot of sunshine and a sweep of clouds every now and then. And a high of only 39 and windchills making it feel like the 20s, in atlantic city, lots of sun and windy a high of 44 degrees and in philadelphia not much different, 44 is your high with sun and occasional high clouds sweeping through and the northwest wind is running 20 to 30 Miles Per Hour. 28 is the overnight low and the cold air that came in last night and yesterday comes in today and sticks around tonight. For afternoon commute, windy and bright and 43 by 5 30 and by 7 00 down to 40 dipping into the 30s after that and upper 20s overnight. Tomorrow we start with sunshine and a high of 46 degrees, its a chilly breeze as the High Pressure system floats off the coast and down to the south the arrival of clouds and friday the precipitation associated with that low will arrive and its cool enough up here in our neck of the woods we think it will arrive as a combination of wet snow and rain, future tracker 6 is holding it off until after the morning rush hour, this latest run has an isolate the spotty shower or snow shower in the morning. But most of the region is looking at wet snow and sleet mixing in and mainly rain at the shore and later in the day the rain line marches farther north and still snow in the northern and western suburbs, what are we expecting in terms of precipitation, up north wet snow and changing to rain in philadelphia and mainly rain down south most of the accumulation should be on grassy surfaces but it could make roads slushy and cover some smaller roads. 45 and windy and chilly and tomorrow sun giving way to clouds and a high of just 39 spring time arrives at 6 45 in the evening and a little bit after that, the union should end and hopefully its drying out during the game and the first full day of spring with a high of 55 dont put the coat away just yet but we are back in the 40s way brisk wind.
