This afternoon two men are charged in the murder of Robert Wilson iii and new information is released about the shoot that claimed his life. They are Brothers Police say they both have criminal history and officers found an ak47 at one of their homes last night and in one of their confessions they said the guns taken from the robbery scene that they used were bought off the streets. Ramon williams and karl hipps were taken into custody and charged. Meanwhile investigators are learning more about what happened inside of the store. When you look at the actions of the officer he redefined what a hero is all about one he stepped away from the counter and there were civilians there i counted four behind the counter, he stepped away so the shots were not going directly at them, they were going toward him. Officer wilson was in the store when the two came in and announced a robbery, he was there to buy a gift for his 9yearold son. He did well in school and was just buying him a video game. What parent has not done that for a child in recognition for good work. As the department tries to sort out of details of the case, they are coming together to support officer wilsons family. Its a tremendous loss in so many ways, our focus is trying to get the family through it particularly the son. Its just a tough time for everybody. The two are actually facing attempted murder charges on officer wilsons partner as well, because as they were leading they engaged in another gun fight with his partner, there are surveillance cameras inside and outside of the store, that gave investigators a good idea of what happened at that game stop.
