Storm tracker6 live double scan right now and you can see were dry. As we step outside we have sky6. Theres the ben franklin bridge. A few clouds around this morning but we expect them to evaporate especially after the sun gets up over the horizon a bit. Its chilly again to start out. Were at 40 degrees in philadelphia. Upper 30s in trenton, allentown, reading, wilmington and all the way down to the shore and theres a decent wind blowing in the teens with some gusts up to the 20s right now and that means your wind chills are actually making it feel like its around the freezing mark. Satellite shows you those clouds i just talked about. Again, i wouldnt worry about them all day. I think theyre going to erode pretty quickly and we should wind up with mostly sunny skies. Up in the Lehigh Valley thats what were going to call it overall, mostly sunny, still windy and chilly, though, with a high of 45. Winds not quite as strong across the region today as they were yesterday. But we could still get gusts up into the 30s at times and its still going to be pretty chilly. Windy and chilly at the shore 48 degrees the high there. And in philadelphia well go for another high of 48 degrees, a little better than yesterday but still pretty windy and chilly with those winds gusting out of the northwest at times as high as 35 miles per hour. Now, that would be Strong Enough to give us another day where theres a little debris rolling around on roadways maybe a trash cans and tree branch here or there and man those leaves really piled up. I got a guy come blow all the levers all the way and the last couple of days, theyre back. Overnight tonight mainly clear, the winds dying down overnight. 25 is the overnight low in some outlying suburbs. Philadelphia probably drops to about the freezing mark. Now that means tomorrow morning it will be another cold start but at least it wont be as windy. Look at how those winds die down overnight. Those of you tired of the wind the last couple days tomorrow things get better. Future tracker6 picking up wednesday story at 1 oclock in the afternoon. In case you are traveling to the northeast up to boston or points north for thanksgiving holidays, it looks tranquil. Its cool but no obstructions on the roadways. And pretty much the same story down south. In fact at 1 oclock tomorrow afternoon in savannah georgia, 70, maybe you should suddenly find relatives in savannah and head down there. Thats going to be really nice. Maybe a couple of sprinkles and showers. The big issue will be in the northwest upper northwest, chicago, indianapolis, saint louis will have some rain and minneapolis a little snow in the middle of the afternoon tomorrow. Around here tomorrow were going up to 49 degrees t it will be fairly tranquil and dry during the day with some clouds increasing as the day goes on. And then theres the system that comes in at night with mainly rain for us. A little bit of a concern here. This is Late Wednesday night in through the overnight hours on early thursday morning. You can see how theres a little precipitation. The model putting it mainly up in the Lehigh Valley. I think some of this could get into berks county and maybe northern bucks and montco. If that happens its going to be colds enough where in could freeze up on surfaces a little bit. Again it looks like its done by the time we get up in the morning but if youre getting up early on thursday morning to drive down to the thanksgiving day parade, in those Northern Areas maybe a little icy patch here or there. Sunny still windy today, 48 degrees is the high. Wednesday partly sunny, less wind, 49. And then on thursday were looking at cloudy skies, a high of have a, temperatures climbing from the low 40s to the upper 40s during the parade and there is the chance of a touch of rain but it really looks like just a couple of light spotty showers around so hopefully were dry for the parade. Cant totally promise that. Friday clouds, some sun, 54 degrees. A late shower possible there. And then mainly dry on saturday, just a spotty shower for temple football and dry on sunday. And leftovers from thanksgiving. Right. My favorite. I love that. Thanks, david. 6 11. Watch what happens at 11 oclock on wednesday night overnight into the wee hours of thanksgiving morning. You see a little bit of precipitation especially up in allentown, maybe berks county, some of this could even get down into northern bucks and montco and then some snow farther to the north.
