Detectives found two dozen bullet casings scattered across the streets. Action News Reporter Katherine Scott has this mornings latest upday. Thats right four people were shot yesterday. We learned early this morning that a third person died from their injuries. So far no arrests have been made. Lets go to video from north philadelphia. The shooting happened yesterday afternoon around 3 30. Around two dozen shots were fired. This happened at Harrison Plaza Public Housing on the 1100 block of west styles. Detectives believe two shooters today imfrom the came from the east of the seen. Four men were hit. They range inch from 25 to 30. Two were pronounced dead at the hospital within about a half hour. Early this morning we learned a third victim succumbed to his injuries. A fourth victim is listed in critical condition. So far no weapons have been recovered. Drug paraphernalia was found at the scene but its unclear how or if it was related to the violence. City Council President Darrell Clarke is outraged about the gunfire in his district which broke out as School Children were being dismissed about a block away. The father of a twoyearold who accidentally shot himself to death will spend at least a year in prison. Nicholas while lee of quakertown pleaded guilty yesterday in bucks county courtroom. He was charged with Involuntary Manslaughter child endangerment and reckless endangerment. Prosecutors say while lee left a gun out on a night stand at his parents home in september. His son benjamin found the gun and shot himself. While lee was sentenced to a county prison term of almost one year to almost two years. The trial will continue today against the three teenagers charged in a Howard High School fight in wilmington. 16yearold Amy Joyner Francis died after she was attacked in a school bathroom. An autopsy found that she had a preexisting heart condition and she died of sudden cardiac death triggered by the fight. Opening statements in the trial started yesterday in family court. The search continues for three boys who police say abducted and sexually assaulted a 13yearold girl in the citys hunting park neighborhood. The action cam was there as city workers were back at the abandoned home where it happened yesterday boarding it up and making sure it was secure. The attack happened around the 1300 block of west butler street on sunday evening. Police say a 13yearold girl was walking down the street when three boys grabbed her and took her to the abandoned house. She was taken to Saint Christophers Hospital for children for treatment. Firefighters are still working to find out what caused this bucks county barn to go up in flames. Chopper6 was over the fire scene in the 200 block of smith school road in perkasie. New this morning, firefighters in los angeles are monitoring hot spots after they spent hours putting out this massive blaze. Flames erupted at this Food Processing building last night. A gas line in the ceiling helped fuel the fire. At one point nearly 200 firefighters were on the scene. All of the employees got out safely. Investigators are working to find out how it started. Well, two men whose plane crashed into the olympic Mountain Range in utah are improving. The small aircraft crashed into the mountain or valley right up to its wing when it went down. A search and rescue crew from the navy were able to locate the plane. Medics had to rappel down to access to hoist them to safety. One medic describes what its like to get a call like that.
