I95 northbound between the vine street expressway and girard avenue we had some construction out there. It just cleared so traffic now moving a little bit better there and as we switch our cameras around we can find i95 and see what it looks like there at cottman and we he do have some construction right there. Thank you karen. Breaking overnight police are investigating the report of a robbery and assault of a Temple University student just south of the north philadelphia campus. Action News Reporter Katherine Scott is live along nortnorth carlisle street where this happened overnight. Reporter Police Released very little so far. Were just hearing that a Temple University student was robbed and sexually assaulted here on this block around midnight and you can see the police have cleared the scene but they were out here earlier on the 1400 block of north carlisle in north philadelphia. This is just south of campus, a block away from broad street. This is just outside the patrol area for temple police. Police havent said what condition the victim is in. We just know she is a temple student and that police say the suspect was armed when he he sexually assaulted and robbed her. She managed to call Philadelphia Police who immediately notified the special victims unit. Temple sent out texts and social media alerts informing the School Community of the incident and urging people to use caution. Police have not disclosed the victims age or said what was taken from her. Again, police have released very Little Information about this incident that happened on the street here around midnight. New this morning, a man was shot in the back in philadelphias kensington section. It happened on the 2800 block of mutter street after 11 oclock last night. Police rushed the 39yearold victim to the hospital. Hes in Critical Condition and theres no word yet on suspects or why they might have done this. A triple shooting in philadelphias feltonville section sent two women and a child to the hospital. The young girl was shot in the thigh and is believed to be under 10 years old. Gunfire erupted inside the home on the 5800 block of north buidinot street at 8 30 last night. No word yet on an arrest or the circumstances of the shooting. They remain sketchy. Reporter Police Released the name of the 13yearold boy who was killed by a forklift at a Philadelphia Business site. Ethan shoemaker and several friends went night Newman Paper Company in wissinoming on sunday night. Police say they started driving forklifts around for fun when there was a collision. Ethan died at the scene. His family says the property should have been better secured. The Company Released a statement offering its condolences. It is 5 05 and a Montgomery County man is accused of inflicting horrifying pain on a young child that had been left in his care. The District Attorneys Office says Nicholas Kernechel pulled three teeth out of a fouryearold boys mouth back in july. The boys mother apparently left the child in kernechels care but when she returned and found her son severely injured she went straight to police. After investigating the case police determined kernechel not only punched the child intentionally but he had also been abusing the boy in the past. Kernechel is now facing charges. His bail has been set at 100,000 in cash. Rutgers university came under another cyber attack for at least the fifth time in the last year. Yesterdays attack affected email, wireless Internet Access and the schools online course Management System from 10 00 a. M. To midafternoon. The University Says no data was compromised and it is working with state and federal Law Enforcement officials. After an attack in august the university hired three Cyber Security firms to help protect its computer networks. Those hirings are part of the reason the school said it recent had to raise tuition.
