Just off 95 in port richmond, watch out for a crash at caster and richmond this afternoon by Timothy Wilson and son auto. And theres one in burholme near oxford avenue by mr. Sushi. Were watching a crash close to st. Joes along city avenue giving us restrictions by 59th g isledigit speeds are resulting. You really want to sti away from site avenue at this point, maybe stay over on bowman avenue or on the other side on 57th street and overbrook avenue and expect extra traffic detouring through the neighborhoods because of the city avenue blockage this afternoon. Couple accidents in bucks county and feasterville. Theres one along street road at old lincoln highway by the sts tire and watch out for a crash along route 13, bristol pike near stuart avenue. Temperatures this warm this late as we take a look at the action cam which was down at franklin square. You can see the carousel going round and round and a few folks on there. And you want to do something to create some kind of breeze over the next few days or if you know someone who still has their pool open, maybe give them a call, as we take a look at stormtracker 6 live double scan, its quiet across much of the area. There were some showers that still were hitting parts of Long Beach Island because of hermine, but mote of that is off the coast and were tracking a few downpours and storms in pennsylvania that may scrape areas like reading, lancaster, and west of wilmington here this evening. But most of us stay dry. Still 89 degrees last three hours consecutively in philadelphia, but were at 90 in reading, 92 in wilmington, 86 in millville. Lower 80s at the shore. Little bit of a sea breeze now trying to come in, but these numbers were a little cooler than inland because of the clouds spinning around hermine, but as you can see, hermine is now beginning to push back to the north and east, will move awaying, improving cons at the conditions at short. Dry here we got sinking air over our area with the void of clouds and then rising at the front with a thunderstorms now working through the central part of pennsylvania. So for tonight, its warm, its humid. There could be a stray downpour or thunderstorm for our Western Areas this evening. 66 in the suburbs, 73 for center city. And the september heat is on. The heat pump will be this musclemaker of High Pressure to the south cranking those southwesterly winds in here for thursday, friday, and saturday. Air temperatures in the mid90s but that doesnt tell the whole story because it will be hazy and it will be tropically humid. In fact, as we take a look at some numbers here near that record territory for philadelphia, going record tying tomorrow at 96 degrees, the old record, 1939. Record tying on friday of 94 degrees. That record was set way back in 1884. So we havent had a temperature this hot on that day in well over 100 years. And then as we get into saturday, pretty close to the record of 97 degrees set back in 1983. The shore tomorrow, a low risk for rip currents, the first timetha has happened in well over a week. In new jersey, 86 degrees. 90 on the delaware beaches. A calm surf, sunshine and just a few clouds and a sea breeze. So finally, a nice day to hit the sand. The exclusive accuweather sevenday forecast 96, like i said, tomorrow, with a record heat. 94, friday. As we get into saturday, it is a steam bath here. 96 feeling over 100 degrees. And an early shower on sunday morning, drop in humidity, returning sun in the afternoon. Looking good here for the eagles, 84 degrees for the kickoff. 88 by the fourth quarter. So youll notice a big difference as you progress through the day on sunday. And then High Pressure settles in monday and tuesday, walltowall sunshine, low humidity, highs in the low and mid80s. And then it turns warmer again. Next wednesday closing in on 90 degrees. These numbers over the next few days, were looking at six or so degrees above normal for this time of year. This is the temperature never mind the heat index. Which is going to be over 100. Adam, thanks. Whats the deal to keeping your newborn safe . Coming up. For senate, Katie Mcginty or pat toomey .
