Joe will graduate from the Delaware County police academy, he wanted to be a Police Officer since he was 6 years old. But the night he saved officer kimsy was the night that sealed his fate. When i visited him in the hospital i knew we would be kind of close. Because of the way he is. He is a great guy, full of life, like my third brother. Officer kinsy became a friend and mentor and shows him how positive to could be to serve and protect. The stories he told me got in excited and got me going. Joes proud mom showed off his wall of fame where all of his commendations are on display. His graduation tonight is even more emotional because that rescue happened just months after joes father died. The spca issued a search warrant and found 60 cats in deplorable conditions. The whole family of cats. Charlotte was brought to tears as she brought about the cats that spca seized from her first floor apartment in frankford this afternoon. How many did you have . Maybe 18. Acting on a tip to the animal cruelty hot line, the spca issued a search warrant at her apartment. They took most of them away, cats and kittens but not all of them because some were still hiding in the walls. Feces and bugs throughout. Ruth lives on the third floor had close to 20 cats that they took off the street and tried to care for. To me its gods work, its like taking care of abused children, we are so take care of them. And i have been doing it for years. Linda who lives on the second floor has 18 cats her apartment is tidy so she is allowed to keep them at least for now. This Surveillance Video shows the dramatic ends of a mile long chase where a local man went after a suspect that he found burglarizing his car. He observed a male breaking into his car and runs out of hi apartment and chases the male who also jumps into another car. It ended at Bridge Street. Can you see the thiefs suv careened around the corner and smashed into the front of a beauty shop and then jumped out of his car as did the resident chasing him who fired two shots and hitting the would be thief shattering his elbow.
