He received a double organ transplant back in 2012 after falling hill that allowed him to go back on tour. He says hes dedicated to raiseing a wearness about the lives Organ Donation can day. Rydal famous for his song wildwood days and we think this weekends accuweather forecast will have many people thinking about that down the shore. Lets go to adam joseph. We have some even warmer temperatures coming our way. Yes, especially getting into the weekend and were finally in the month of may the month where memorial day begins and thats when you start thinking about heading to the shore as well and as we look there right now live on sky six in Atlantic City southbound nobody right now on the sand. The temperatures at the shore are very chilly with that wind coming in out of the eastnortheast, right now only 49 degrees in Atlantic City. Sea isle city the same for wildwood upper 40s right now that will warm over the weekend. Inland millville 59, 61 in wilmington and 50s even to the west, the exception the Lehigh Valley trenton, philadelphia at 62 degrees. Little more sun to the north of philadelphia right now. Lets open up the calendar for the month of may. Our average High Temperature to be shutting around 69 degrees. Were pretty far from that right now. As we speed up time toward the end of the month here on the 30th 78 degrees is the average High Temperature but you know what, were not going have to wait until the end of the month to feel those upper 70s. In fact 80s. Because theyre coming back in that sevenday forecast. And also rainfall we average about three and threequarters of an inch of rain and we need a little rain to kind of wash out the pollen and also to water some of the gardens. As we look at satellite and radar, all the rain that we hopefully or i should say i want is there now pushed to the south. We kind of missed it. We do have a couple of showers in the western suburbs but that is about it this afternoon so there could be a stray shower around this evening. Otherwise partly cloudy overnight, seasonable temperatures, 44 trenton, 44 in Atlantic City, 45 in reading. So the numbers will even out overnight tonight compared to kind of the sporadic nature that they are right now from the 40s to the 60s and tomorrow afternoon 72 city of philadelphia cooler at the shore with temperatures in the 60s with the sea breeze and then as we get into sunday, 77 philadelphia, 76 wilmington, 74 in allentown so above average even at the shore. Temperatures on sunday will get into the 70s. However, good news there. Were getting warmer. However bad news, this is probably the worst four day outlook for pollen levels that weve had so far this spring. It is going to remain on the high side if not maybe even extremely high with the oak, the birch and the maple right through tuesday with those really warm temperatures, a breeze and the lack of rain. As we look at the four day at 4 00 its sun versus clouds tomorrow 72 degrees. Theyre going kind of fight each other. There could be an isolated shower tomorrow afternoon but generally dry. Sunny and warm for sunday, 78 degrees in the afternoon after being in the 60s for the broad street run in the morning. A little toasty for that run but were not going to complain. Spring sizzle on monday, 84 degrees. We stay there on tuesday and there could be a late day thunderstorm tuesday. Thats our next chance for any major kind of downpour so to speak so for all were climbing into the 70s and then into the 80s. Well let you know in the next half hour if that continues into the middle of next week. Adam thanks very much. Sounds good. On that note summer is right around the corner now. If youre looking for a good book you might want to check out downtown trenton. Right now the capitol city book fare is under way. Also one in aston to avoid along bridgewater road at chester drive and crossing into delaware in wilmington were getting reports of an overturned vehicle at seventh and tatnall so thats a good intersection to avoid. Tonight at 7 oclock in northern delaware its the alters gate glow run and walk. A number of street closures starting in awhile. Our jackknifed tractortrailer blocking a ramp from 95 south onto princeton pike now gone. Everything is reopened there. You guys are going to be gone soon too. Have a good evening and a good weekend. Gone but not forgotten. Youll be back. Well be back tonight. Thank you matt. Meteorologist adam joseph back with the exclusive accuweather 7day forecast coming up next. Were not going anywhere. Theres over two hundred thousand students in philadelphia. Jim kenney and Tony Williams are fighting over Public Schools versus charters. I think theyre both wrong. Its making sure they all get a good education. Teachers should have their contracts respected. They also should be held accountable. And its wrong philadelphia gets less School Funding than other parts of pennsylvania. Ill work with harrisburg to change that. But if they refuse ill take them to federal court. As mayor ill do whats right for them. All right. In case you didnt know its friday. We know. Pretty good weekend in store. Yes, as we go into the weekend temperatures will be warming well above average. Near 80 degrees by the end of the weekend around here. As we take a look at the action cam we dont have that to wait until the weekend to enjoy the outdoors. Take a look at this fine person setting out in logan square and its one of those days where you want to hit one of the squares in philadelphia as everything is blooming around as long as youre not an allergy sufferer. As we take a look at double scan live radar no precipitation right now. About a couple hours ago there was a little strike of showers that passed through parts of berks county and Lancaster County but they have evaporated and fallen apart and its just cloud cover clogging the sun at the present time. Still only in the mid and up are 50s where we saw that brief shower or two in the western suburbs. And because of that wind draining in off the atlantic much cooler for millville to the shore between about 50 and 59 degrees. Allentown seeing a decent amount of sun this afternoon and thats helping temperatures rise into the lower 60s. Low pressure that brought the energy and the showers mainly through the virginias and the carolinas continues to spin to the south and pivot off the coast and is draining that northerly wind our way. That will continue through the early part of the overnight hours and those winds will start to shift direction as we go into your saturday and sunday. But for tonight maybe a stray shower in a couple can of spots but overall its just partly cloudy, seasonable, 44 to 48 degrees for that overnight low. And on your saturday, that low continues to pull away, partly sunny, turning warmer, High Pressure is still over the Tennessee Valley so winds will switch more out of the northwest as opposed to the eastnortheast. So well move it up to 72 degrees. Could there be a stray shower tomorrow afternoon in a couple spots . Yeah its possible but most of us wont see it. And then as that high continues to push offer to the east, this will become a heat pump off the east coast because winds are higher clockwise and that will be shifting out of the south and southwesterly direction so sunday lots of sunshine, gorgeous with a high in the afternoon of 78 degrees. For the morning though, weve got 30 plus thousand runners heading down broad street. Mostly sunny and northwesterly wind, thats a tail wind that will help, its not strong but its something, three to 6 miles an hour and temperatures will be a little warmer than runners would like 58 degrees at 8 oclock in the morning and already jumping to 68 degrees by 11 00 a. M. The exclusive accuweather 7day forecast, 70s for the weekend, the warmer of the two days will be sunday and then a spring sizzle on monday, 84 degrees. Future tracker confirming in the afternoon many thermometers hitting that 80degree mark, even the shore, upper 70s with the exception of cape may because of a wind coming out of the southwest off the bay could keep southern parts of new jersey a little bit cooler on monday and then as we extend that into tuesday very warm, 84 maybe a popup thunderstorm late in the day and we stay well above average wednesday, thursday, friday and dry between 78 and 80 degrees and were going to want some rain because those pollen levels are very high. Everything is in bloom. Were planting our gardens. Give it a little drink. It doesnt look like a lot of rain in the next seven days. Thank you adam. Freebie friday is coming up next. She also says grays death a week later from an unexplained spinal injury was a homicide. Baltimores mayor also reacted today to the charges. I heard your call for no justice, no peace. Your peace is sincerely needed as i work to deliver justice on behalf of this young man. There will be justice for mr. Gray. There will be justice for his family and there will be justice for the people of baltimore.
