Developing right now, it hurts the heart to tell you this story. Police in florida are desperately searching a lagoon at an upscale disney world resort. An alligator dragged a twoyearold boy into a water despite his parents all out efforts to try to grab their child back. Katherine scott is live in the Satellite Center with the details. Good morning katherineism good morning tam. That alligator is between four and 7 feet long yet those parents went into the water thereafter alligator and their little boy but they were unable to save him. Now a team of Law Enforcement is out trying to find him. The search stretched throughout the night for the twoyearold boy from nebraska who was dragged in the water by an alligator at disneys grand floridian resort and spa right in front of his family. They were just simply relaxing out in the area and wading just in the water there along the lakes edge at the time that the alligator attacked the child. Reporter the father went into the water trying to rescue his son. The mother went in, too, but they couldnt get him. Law enforcement personnel, two marine units were dispatched. A man watched from his nearby hotel room. All of a sudden we saw a search helicopter search with a bright search light over the lagoon all that you can see are boats and helicopters inch the attack happened in an area of the seven seas lagoon where no swimming signs are posted. Disney which is the Parent Company of 6abc is cooperating with authorities. Everyone here at the Walt Disney World resort is devastated by this tragic accident. Our thoughts are with the family. We are helping the family and doing everything we can to assist Law Enforcement. As a father, as a grandfather, were going to hope for the best in these circumstances but based upon my 35 years of Law Enforcement experience, we know that we have some challenges ahead of us at this time. Such a tragedy. Problems with the water supply hampered efforts to battle two alarm blaze in Lansdale Montgomery county. The flames broke out late last night at the clemons uniform rental company on the 800 block of west fifth street. The business had been closed for the day. No one was inside and there are no reports of injuries at the scene. It took crews an hour and a half to contain the flames. Five people are recovering this morning after gunfire erupted on the streets of wilmington. Three of those victims are juveniles. Action News Reporter Annie Mccormick is live at the Wilmington Police department with the latest on the investigation. Annie, good morning. Reporter good morning, nydia. And according to Wilmington Police there are five shooting victims several of them juveniles, at least one a teenager. At this hour no word on if they have identified the shooter or shooters. Well, this is video from the scene. It was around 9 15 last night that officers responded to elm street and South Van Buren street. Multiple calls of shots fired came into 911. Officers found three shooting victims on van buren and two others on harrison. Police say the victims are juvenile one as young as 13. That young girl and the rest of the victims were taken to area hospitals and are listed all in stable condition. Now, back out here live we were told that not far from tuesday nights shooting on monday night around the same neighborhood there was a 24yearold man that was shot and wounded in the shoulder. At this hour police say that they are not connected, it just appears that there was a lot of gunfire in that one center of the city and of Course Police are still looking for any information so if anybody was there, any witnesses theyre asking them to come forward. New information this morning on the case of a woman found handcuffed stabbed and shot to death in Fairmount Park near the mann music center. Philadelphia homicide detectives have identified the victim as 26yearold toi bryant of chester. Police think the murder happened somewhere else and that the body was dumped on the 5300 block of north georgia hill drive on monday night. Now to the latest on the orlando shooting massacre. The fbi is investigating whether the gunman has led a secret life as a gay man. Omar mateen opened fire at the Pulse Gay Club on sunday can killing 49 people and wounding 53 others. There are now reports that patik was seen regularly at the club and that he approached other men at the bar and used gay dating apps. Its not like he just sat there and stared at people. He was an active person that tried to find somebody, maybe to go to bed with that night. Investigators are also investigating mateens wife noor salman and have taken her into custody. They want to determine if she knew in advance that her husband intended to attack the club. She could be charged. Some reports say she tried to dissuade him from carrying out his plot but then drove him to buy his guns and drove him to the club to case it out. The vehicle crash landed in the Passaic River yesterday morning. Jay moss was on the other side of the river at his gym. Without hesitation he jumped in the water and pulled the driver from that suv. As soon as i realized there was no one coming, it was a little bit of a scary moment looking at someone and conscious in the car thinking that if i cant get it open shes probably going die. Moss carried the 50yearold woman safely back to the river bank. Its unclear what caused the woman to crash into the river. She is expected to be okay. Surveillance video shows the accused gunman trying to reload his gun after shooting spree in 2014. A student confronts him, pepper spraying him in the face.
