A female in her 40s unrelated to the homeowners, her body was found in the second floor bedroom. There was difficulty locating her because the portion of the room she was in collapsed. In other news, a drive ever was alarmed this morning after realizing that a man was dragged under the vehicle for 100 feet, it turns out the man was on the ground because he had been shot, and Katherine Scott is there all morning on the scene. Reporter a neighbor here had been returning home from work and felt something dragging under his car and when he went to check he realized it was a person and that person had already been shot. This morning homicide detectives were going doortodoor in this overbrook neighborhood trying to figure out what happened in the back driveway of north 68th street. Police and paramedics were called to the rear driveway of i report of a pedestrian struck. The 51yearold driver realized something was stuck under the vehicle and realized there was a body underneath the minivan. The man was unresponsive and pronounced dead. Medics discovered he was shot at least once. Where the trail of blood starts we found multiple spent shell casings from a semi automatic gun. One neighbor tells us she didnt realize the noises she heard were gunshots. This is such a condensed area and someone could look outside in a minute it didnt occur it could be an actual victim. The driver of this minivan is not a suspect and is cooperating with police. There are surveillance cameras nearby and police are looking for footage that could help in the situation. Davis devo died on march 10th when his vehicle was hit by a drunk driver. He was on the way to a house fire that killed two children. Devo was a veteran with 21 years of service.
