Annie mccormick says they have a person of interest in their investigation. Reporter police say that a person of interest turned himself in to Police Headquarters at 7 30 this morning. They believe that person is the driver behind this mornings deadly hit and run. I miss him and love him and wish i wish he could come back to me. The wife of molina speaking to action news about her husband and father of her two children. Police say this lexus struck and killed molina at the bus stop at cotman. He is a hard worker and we got along well. And we have a 20yearold daughter and a 2yearold son that we will miss you. Investigators believe this lexus plowed into the bus stop ripping the metal structure off its hinges and the vehicle launched molina almost 100 feet in the air where he fell to the sidewalk and was pronounced dead. Witnesses say the driver then exited the lexus, walked over and looked at the body, and then fled on foot. The impact was so strong the front axle broke and investigators believe that speed was a factor and at the time of the crash it was raining heavily and a second vehicle was spotted at the scene and the driver of that vehicle saw molina and drove off. There appears to be blood on the lexus from the driver. And the person of interest had injuries consistent with this mornings crash and was taken to the hospital by police and is expected to be requested there this morning. We are following breaking news in Montgomery County where the students of north Penn High School are sent home early for the day because of a fire on campus. The fire struck two alarms at noon time and onlies decided to send all the students home. The fire began in a closet that is reportedly under control and no reports of injuries but the cause of the blaze is still unknown. Circulating counterclockwise around an area of low pressure, taking the showers to the east. If we see something this afternoon its very likely to be east of philadelphia, over by lakehurst or ocean county. There you see future tracker 6 keeping everything to the east. But something that could pop up includes thunder, so take cover from that. No Severe Weather expected but a few showers or thunderstorms possible to the east. And 9 30 its pretty much dying down. High temperatures low 80s in allentown and reading and 76 in trenton and 76 in millville. Down the shore well get up to about 70 degrees, a little cooler but better than recently web we were stuck in the 60s. 77 degrees by 2 00, that is your high 79 degrees, well have to wait until 4 00 to get there and i see us sitting on or about that until dinner time. It sets up off the coast for several days and the clockwise flow around a high grabs on to the warm air down at the gulf coast and brings it on in. Thursday and friday well add humidity into the picture and there may be afternoon popup showers or thunderstorms in what is an increasingly unstable air mass, especially friday and saturday and sunday as well. What to expect then overall, high well into the 80s on some of these days, and humid conditions and a spotty afternoon thunderstorm possible.
