We are going from hot and sunny now to cool and wet. Its that same system thats going to be wiping its way through here overnight. Its any other going to be severe but its go together bring a big drop in temperatures and kick those winds up especially late tonight. As we look at double scan live radar we can see some of the rain entering the western suburbs. There was a line of thunderstorms earlier today in central parts of pennsylvania but its really losing its punch and at this point is an area of steady rain through parts of berks county, reading, 422 there as you head west of reading, 222 between lancaster and reading and now parts of western Chester County getting a couple of at least light showers dampening the ground near coatesville all this lifting from the southwest to the north and east and eventually will make its way in broken fashion to the city of philadelphia by about 8 oclock or 9 oclock tonight but what a week it has been. The low pressure near buffalo and binghamton will continue to ride into Northern New England and well see some of those light showers continue to pivot through at times overnight tonight. So its not a washout but periods of rain about a quarter to a half an inch on average. And turning windy especially after midnight. 48 to 50 as we wake up tomorrow morning and we only stay in the mid50s for highs tomorrow. Showers at times during the morning. Very late sun returning from the west to the northeast late in the afternoon but winds tomorrow between 40 and 45 miles an hour and the sun is back on sunday as that low lifts into new england. Its warmer at 64. The deep blue sky. But still very windy, about 30 to 35 miles an hour wind gusts for the seconds half of the weekends. As this woe winds up Northern New England were talking about those 70s and 80s we enjoyed. Take a look at northern parts of new england as well as the adirondacks as we go into saturday and sunday. Theyre expecting between one and 3inches of snow in the white mountains, 32 he to six in the green and in the adirondacks over a half a foot of snow with this system in the Higher Elevations so just a sign that winter is not too far off as we look at the exclusive accuweather 7day forecast, 56 as a damp start begins our weekend a little brighter, very late in the day. Again windy both days but much brighter and warmer sunday at 64. Really nice here monday. Still breezy but sunny, 63.
