Philadelphia Police Investigating two shootings that happened about 20 minutes apart tonight. The first happened around 8 30 between north and wallace streets in spring garden. The victim shot while pulling his car out of a driveway. He lost control of the vehicle and smashed into the doors of a nearby church. The victim taken to hannemhnema hospit hospital, no word on his condition. And an unrelated shooting minutes later in port richmond. A man shot in the head by several hospitals and he was rushed to the hospital and in very critical condition. Police have not made arrests in either shooting. A date strotrooper in delaw recovering from a crash. His car collided with another car on south jane way in stanton. The trooper and the other driver rushed to the hospital for what is believed to be nonlifethreatening injuries. And the road shutdown while they investigated the scene. And they are saying weather likely played the role in the crash killing a 3yearold girl yesterday in lehigh valley. And the crash with a car and pick upstruck. And rivera in a car seat when ejected. And the identity of the woman found dead in a car that crashed in a lake. Cathy shorter drove into a lake in new jersey last night. The police did not get the call until 10 30 this morning when a groundskeeper at the Salem County Sportsman Club discovered the car submerged in the water. The victim was at a family party the night before and when she left she unknowingly headed for the lake instead of the main entrance. You go right and you go to the he transof the sportsman club. If you make a left you go where she was found at, that boat ramp. An autopsy will be performed tomorrow. Police are still trying to determine what exactly led the woman to drive off the road. A family from bucks county received an unwelcomed surprise this morning when a car came crashing into their living room. Tonight that home in bensalem is boarded up as the police work to determine how it happened. Action News Reporter Trish Hartman with more. Barrett davis sound asleep upstairs when a silver s. U. V. Crashed through his living room in bensalem around 5 30. I heard something that sounded like thunder. And i go downstairs and there is a car there. And his wife, dolly, just hope from the hospital was asleep downstairs. The car just missed going into her. To hitting her. How lucky do you feel . I am blessed. Barrett says the driver actually told his wife to call 911 before taking off. She ran to a neighbors house for help. The next thing i know i hear in my living room saying oh, my god, a car is in my living room. The vehicle hit a grassy embankment and launched through a neighbors yard damaging a shed and trees. And it through across monroe avenue where it smashed into the house. The car was carefully removed around 8 00 a. M. And dolly davis was taken to the hospital for chest pains. The couple is helped by the red cross until they find a place to stay. And work to board up the shed across the street and the gaping hole left in the davis house. Family members said when they heard it happened they just had to come and help. He is framing it out so we can board it up and then have to seal off the roof. Fortunately the family members included a licensed contractor. We still have a lot to do, so i am just trying to clean up so we can get all of this secured. Investigators tell action news the deadly shooting of a robbery suspect by an offduty philadelphia swat officer yesterday was justified. Viewer video shows the moments off the shooting in the 5700 block of park avenue in olney. The suspect was robbing an elderly person and the offduty officer identified himself. They say the offduty officer fired and they two exchanged gunfire. And the fitness tracker that may have saved his life. Giving the doctors the crucial information they needed after he had a seizure.
